Stagecoach Sunderland

14/4/23 I was stood waiting for a bus for over a hour, with a old lady in a wheelchair in the rain. The first and second didn't turn up what should of been due, we had to get the 13 as it was the only one what goes to Farringdon where the lady lives, we ended up having to get a taxi as I was due off my shift and the lady wanted to get home in the warmth.Stagecoach sort your routes out..its disgraceful

Poor me went to the bus stop at 13:05 at tunstall road to get the 13 to the town. I was stood there for nearly 30 minutes. Two buses came together. Not sticking to timetable. No apology from the driver either.

Why do stagecoach have a policy that allows drivers to decide if and how many dogs can be on the bus. An arrogant, stroppy bus driver that didn't like the look of me, shouldn't be deciding if im allowed on with my pet. Caused my dog to miss an important vets appointment. Would be fair enough if there was a one dog rule for every bus, but a lack of making public aware of their terrible policies means a lot of people who cant drive and cant afford taxi's cant get their pooch places, nevermind appointments to help save their life. Driver should be ashamed.

Waited an hour for no4, my wife and I wait for the no 4 service for one hour today (Monday the 25th of September) in that time waited there were four No 3 and numerous 23. Why is it always the 4 that seems to have this problem on a regular basis, heads must roll this is gross incompetance. The wildwest Stagecoachs ran a better service tha yous.

Wouldn't give 1 star but only way to review. Terrible service,sky high fares,best part of drivers extremely rude and or miserable, no customer service skills,smart cards stop working,drivers blame you,even though stagecoach supply the cards, the pass I need for work isn't available on the app,wish I didn't have to use this company, as things get worse not better. Absolute joke of a company.

No one should grief the drivers as they don't intentionally go out of their way to be late or just vanish without warning. Stagecoach haven't invested well In the Sunderland bus network for years so aim your anger at the company. The drivers themselves have voted for strike action due to poor pay and a run down fleet. The big wigs seriously need to get the network sorted as it's broken. I buy a monthly ticket and due to mass cancellations, many times I've had to get taxis to work. Their penny pinching is costing the people who rely on their services a lot of extra money and at a time when money is tight. I have nothing but contempt for the people who run stagecoach and nothing but respect for the drivers who are working under such terrible bosses.

Shocking bus service. In Gilley Law we're down to one bus now, the number 13, since the 3 was taken away, which half the time is very late or doesn't turn up or 2 arrive together. As for getting a 13 home from town around 6 or 7 in the evening, that's pot luck. One might come if you don't mind waiting for an hour. This service is now a complete shambles.

Met Warren between Newcastle and Sunderland. Not from around here but he gave the best customer service I've ever experienced and showed us to a local establishment. He went above and beyond and an absolute Gent. Thanks Warren.
