A lovely park with tennis and rugby pitches surrounded by houses, a stones throw from the River Lea, Lee Rowing Club, Springfield Park and Riverside Cafe. We enjoyed watching the rugby on a warm spring day :)

Unfiltered I You walk along the canal to reach Middlesex Filter Beds Nature Reserve. The canal along the way presents you sights of clear waters reflecting the sun and the clouds above. The colourful boats talk of colourful characters who call these flotillas a house. As you walk along you realise that this canal skirts an old industrial area that is now converted a nature reserve. In a way it tells you that nature is all powerful to conquer and find its own way to thrive, if only man could meddle a little less.

Wow.... I didn't know such a beautiful place is near my house. I really like this place. Perfect option for joging, cycling and walking. You can cover a long distance with your loved ones and dogs. I met so many people today... Difininltly improves our mood. Because of last two days rain, there are some mud on the road. So its bit tricky to cycle.

Love this park only because at night time it can be quite the challenge navigating it, but it's the calm, quiet you get also that adds to the atmosphere here. I have a fear of water (don't ask, I was 3 years old), so my last visit here ended with me absolutely petrified of walking so close by the water but still, I'll be coming back in the Summer as the photo opportunities here are ripe.

One of the best areas for walking and jogging.Very peaceful for a picnic.Highly recommendedIt is just beside the wetlands.

Had such a great time here, a lovely warm day, pack lunch and lots of exploring on our bikes. It's a great open space with canals, woodland, a Weir, farms... A lovely place for days out, walks, picnics, dog-walking and cycling... I am a novice cyclist so it was just the sort of place to build my skills while enjoying the green space. The area and track is well maintained and It's the sort of place where something about it soothes your soul especially with that big expanse of water.
