Brilliant local gardening store that has a great selection of flowers, plants and other gardening paraphernalia! Staff are very helpful at the till and very helpful, also has a delivery service if you're ordering a lot! Bought quite a few bits since moving to the area and it's quickly become a favourite shop of mine

I run my own landscaping company and I needed to source a wide selection of shrubs and plants, to fill my son's raised planting area.Pets and gardens stocks a very large selection of garden plants at competitive prices.All appeared fresh and well maintained. The outdoor plants are situated on the footpath directly in front of the shop. There is also a much larger selection in the rear grounds of the property.During my visit, I needed to purchase about £250 worth of architectural type plants. I wanted to provide colour through the use of foliage, as opposed to using flowers, and I was not disappointed by the choice and range on offer.Many of the smaller perennials were excellently priced, whilst many of the larger shrubs, bamboos and ornamentals were priced at £50 and above. (Still considerably cheaper than the average garden centre).The manager and staff were all very friendly, attentive and helpful. They even packed all of my plants into suitably sized boxes and allowed me to load them directly into my van at the rear of the property.No trade discount was offered but in today's economic climate, that was neither surprising or expected.All in all it was a great experience and I would strongly recommend visiting this hugely popular store for all your plants and shrubs.

Nice, small, friendly business. If you're looking for Christmas tree look no further- good selection round the back of the shop. Bought from here 3 years in the row, never left disappointed.

I pop into Pets and Gardens when I can and the place has been transformed by the new owners, it is a happier and more welcoming environment and the staff definitely seem happier which is great as they are all so very helpful.

I am a regular, very satisfied customer here. The plants are incredible quality, a brilliant selection and very friendly and helpful staff. Also, I love their bulb selection and their pet and bird feed is brilliant. A wonderful, local independent business.

Love everything at Pets and Gardens - especially their attention to detail in terms of floristry arrangements! Maddi always makes sure we have everything we need before leaving, and always gives great advice it terms of caring for the plants / flowers we buy. More than Pets & Gardens, now that it's been taken over by John & Anne! They've even got their own digital loyalty programme that provides Cashback on ALL items in the shop plus shopping points for deals when I revisit.. I can even get a card that works at Argos, Boots, Iceland, M&S etc. I just load it with cash and earn 3% Cashback on everything! I just use it as cash.. brilliant!! .. Well worth a visit as the shop has now transformed with well stocked lines and clear merchandising and plenty of space to move around freely.. Friendly helpful staff and open 7days a week.. Had a bouquet made up today - absolutely stunning & it smells gorgeous. The young lady who helped us choose the flowers & make up the bouquet was so helpful, very professional service. Excellent, will definitely use again for flowers.
