Old Vienna Restaurant
A brilliant restaurant with fantastic menu. We had the Scallops, Lobster Ravioli for starters, Duck breast, Beef Fillet for mains, apricot dumpling and pancake filled cherries for desserts. The staff were very friendly and the owner made time to talk to every table. A great fine dining experience.

The lobster, salmon and scallop ravioli starter was delicious, as was the sticky date toffee pudding, but I was extremely disappointed with the scallops as a main dish; It was literally double the size of the starter, which didn’t feel like a proper meal at all. The scallops tasted over-cooked and the sauce was overpowering!!The service was great but it didn’t make up for the over-priced food. I don’t mind paying more for something high quality, but the food is definitely not that.A bit of a let down. ☹️

I can’t recommend this place enough!Owner/chef produces the most amazing food, waiting stuff was absolutely brilliant.We had surprise birthday party of 11 people and everyone was very pleased with food and atmosphere. Owner is very friendly and accommodating, nothing was too much for him, he let me bring birthday decorations before the birthday, all our requests were met with a smile!If you looking for special place with great food Old Vienna is THE PLACE!!!❤️

The staff were so friendly, perfect timing between courses. Lovely wine and tremendous food. We will definitely be back, and highly recommend this place.

Lovely place, amazing staff, amazing food. Perhaps a little pricey but it’s worth it.My only complaint is the bread they serve as appetisers - It’s delicious and there isn’t enough of it!

As everyone says, fantastic food, warmest greeting and treatment from staff who'd obviously love being there. Book well in advance!This is the kind of establishment where they do one sitting per table per night. 22 covers, so 22 meals served per night.Many dishes are Austrian, then Austrian chef is also the owner and wonderfully charismatic. The food is not shy in flavours. Even the snapse at the end is home made.We'll be returning.

Seriously, the food here is amazing. Probably one of the best meals I've had at a restaurant for a while - if you're lucky enough to be close enough book a table. The apricot dumpling was also the biggest surprise of the night. Thank you Chef!

A very highly rated place and for good reason judging by our visit. We were fortunate to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary here. If it hadn't had fell on a midweek day then I feel we wouldn't have got in.It's an unpretentious dining room and the atmosphere was very relaxed.The menu is a bit limited and any fussy eater like me may want to phone ahead to check what's on offer.We had fillet steaks and they were excellent, together with a nice selection of vegetables. Note these are included in the price and they can do a bit of mix and match" across the menu. The desserts were simply sublime.Despite its popularity and reputation we thought the prices are very competitive even compared to lesser establishments.It's a small bar but we were happy.The service from our friendly and attentive waitress was exemplary."
