Stunningly beautiful nature haven. At one point you can see the city of Exeter and the sea. Favourite with dog walkers.

Fantastic open space for dog walks, picnics or just to sit and read a book. Well looked after by local council just have to watch out for the occasional cow

Stunning park and nature reserve not even a few miles outside the city centre. Plenty of rolling hills and fields to enjoy and a great place to walk the dog. Cattle are in some of the fields for some of the year so always worth checking. Really well managed by Devon Wildlife Trust.

It's a lovely park, with access both from the Rifford Road side and from Pynes Hill. These photos are from the Rifford Rd/Chestnut avenue side. The fields are enclosed by hedges and cow gates, and the hills are often rather steep, so not suitable for wheelchairs nor probably for people that tire quickly. But definitely good for flying a kite.Less recommended in the wet season as the ground can become boggy, particularly where the cows have been.In the right season there are blackberries along the edges. We saw a couple of robins and three peacock butterflies today.

Great place for dog walking. Lovely views and flora and fauna. Benches for quick breaks. There are often cows so be ready to put dogs on leads. I've never seen sheep there which is good. Dog waste bins available and plenty of parking on the roads.

Ludwell Valley Park
Quite a nice park! It's very long and thin compared to most parks though. There is plenty, plenty of room to kick a ball around and there are multiple play areas for children as well as a relatively large selection (10-15) of small black ramps of different designs that I presume must be for training dogs, though I went over them with my mountain bike!
