Creeksea Place Manor House

Promised a stay here by Jon Paul Lindsey if we removed a review about his apartment in Fuengirola Spain. The apartment was filthy. He asked us to remove the review because it would harm his business and we could have a complimentary stay at Creeksea Place ManorHouse cottage. Like fools we took the review down. Then he tells us a few days before our stay that we were not booked in….We have messages from him confirming the booking and dates. It must have been a misunderstanding apparently…Don’t trust this man

Amazing hidden gem, probably the best wedding venue in Essex...Creeksea Place is a family run venue without the commercial focus. We planned on getting married abroad until we fell in love with this venue and the amazing grounds. A truly beautiful setting for getting married and quite frankly any event. The staff have all been professional, caring and all of our requests and requirements for our special day were catered for making our wedding day, the day we dreamed of.Amazing grounds kept superbly, stunning surrounding and matched with the delight of wonderful staff and owners. Would highly recommend a visit or booking for wedding/engagement or just a beautiful afternoon tea. Well done JP and Creeksea...

Lovely place for a wedding. Great building and fantastic gardens

We chose Creaksea Place Manor House as our wedding venue. From the point of booking to the end of the big day everyone involved was incredibly helpful, you can tell that the team love what they do. So much hard work went into our wedding and even despite a few curveballs being thrown in on the day by our guests the team were extremely professional and ensured everything ran seamlessly. There were no hidden costs, everything from day one was explained clearly, the team did such a brilliant job at making planning a wedding as stress free as possible. Having worked so hard throughout the day even at the end of the night the team were full of smiles and excitement for us. We were made to feel like part of the family, we could not have asked for more on our wedding day. An absolutely stunning venue with an excellent set up that is being run by an excellent team of passionate people.

What a spectacular wedding venue with beautiful grounds. We were actually visiting to see a performance of the Greatest Showman which didn't disappoint! The team did a brilliant job and the performance was amazing! Look forward to our next event at Creeksea Manor!

Come here for the Christmas markets and it's just beautiful. The grounds are stunning and the building itself is phenomenal!

Lovely venue and staff were lovely too. Particularly admired one of the charismatic bar servers, who charmed me into taking several single malts lol... One of our waiting staff, picking up a starter plate managed to drop an oily lettuce leaf on one of the guests; poor lad was absolutely mortified and very apologetic bless him. Wedding was in a marquee and weather was brilliant so glad about that, never got to see the inside of the manor though, apart from an indoor loo, which had to be opened up when their portacabin 'broke down' not a good thing at a wedding...

Lovely venue. Great staff on hand. Great for intimate weddings. Expect plenty of insects and pollen but that’s what you get with lovely greenery.

A superb venue, nothing comes close, the staff are totally on top of their game and a pleasure to liase with.
