Had a fantastic experience arranging for alterations by Fran on a dress. Her attention to detail and friendly customer service were highly professional. Would definitely chose her again.

I bought a beautiful dress called The Scarlett from Hope & Ivy to wear at my cousin's wedding. Unfortunately, when it arrived the size 12 was too big for me and all sizes were sold out when I went to exchange for the size 10. The lovely Ersilda came to the rescue and altered the dress to fit me perfectly! I was so happy with it and got several comments about how lovely it was. I would 100% recommend and use Ersilda again to work her magic on my alterations. Thank you :)

This is the first time I’ve been to Fran and she has been amazing. I was so anxious as my bridesmaid dress didn’t fit and being a larger girl I’m so nervous on being judged. Fran made everything so normal and she had a way with her that just makes you feel at ease. The amendments she has made are amazing and I’ve now sent a few people her way. When I first spoke to Fran I was a worried bride as another seamstress had said that my dress was too difficult to alter, Fran was so calm and reassuring she completely put me at ease. I am so happy I contacted Fran, she is a talented seamstress, true professional and was so lovely to me at our appointments. After some disappointing dress fittings at a number of other wedding boutiques, I was a little bit apprehensive when I first entered The Wedding Centre... but I needn't have been! Katie was so warm and welcoming, and she spoke with me and my sister/maid of honour like we had been lifelong friends. It was a very relaxing environment and I felt very much at ease within seconds. My mum booked an appointment at the wedding centre for a Saturday in November for me to find a wedding dress. This appointment was organised back in September, when we arrived we knocked on the locked door as there were ladies in the window but no answer so followed the sign which said to go to the florist next door if door is locked which we did however the lady in there told us to knock again.We knocked and the door was answered. We explained we had an appointment for 10am to which we were told that it had been double booked with a alteration but we could go next door into the stock room and look at the dresses while she attends to this customer.We were let in to another door where there were dresses galore hanging and told we could pick ones out and try them off and off she went.This was my first wedding dress shop therefore wasn’t sure on what I would like, what size I should wear etc.the rooms were cramped, dark and most of the lights were not switched on.We decided to leave as was already not having a very pleasant experience. We told the lady in the Florist that we were going as the door was still unlocked to stock room.We half expected expected an email once we left off the back of our booking to apologise but nothing.Would not recommend attending this store.

I’ve now visited The Wedding Centre twice, once with my best friend and once with my sister, and we couldn’t have had a better experience! Katie is fantastic and extremely knowledgeable - she makes you feel really at ease with her kind, caring nature. They stock beautiful dresses of all styles and sizes, and Katie is honest with prices from the start (many are surprisingly very affordable!). Having been to many bridal boutiques, this is by far the best for many reasons - not pushy, listens to what you are looking for, gives honest advice. 10/10 highly recommend!
