Dont judge a book by its cover..looks so tempting..but its soo disappointing..got a beautiful looking meat and potato pie for 2.50..couldnt wait to eat it..Dry pastry..hard potatoes and meat just gristle..gave it to my dog...pound bakery much better

We were walking past and decided to give the Roast Dinner box at £7.50 a box a try. We were expecting a great box with everything in. They were low on roast potatoes so told us it would be about 10 min. There were 6 potatoes left so we said it’s fine 3 each will do make it up with something else. The lady then made up the first box and twice we asked for Crackling the first box had been sealed and we asked again for crackling and at that point the lady realised she had not put the potatoes in. On the second box we yet again asked for Crackling and said you can just put the two pieces in one box. We got home and there was no Crackling in either box. Buying some nice food these days is about the quality of food and the experience. The food was quite good but unfortunately when you ask 4 times for Crackling and don’t get it it spoils the experience especially as people were getting handed there crackling in a bag. So as a first experience it was not good ! We are not sure if we will go back and try again. Judging by the difficulty of the team member trying to carve the meat on the tray and not on a cutting board I think some staff training and consistency would help. Shame really as the box is a great idea but when you ask for everything with Crackling and you are already down a few roast potatoes then you expect more. Shame

The roast food is lovely don't get me wrong, so are the sausage rolls, proper homemade but trying to charge £3.75 for a basic ham roll and being charged £1 extra for a little sprinkle of cheese and an extra 75p for a spoon of coleslaw is a joke. I probably wouldn't mind if it was a big sandwich but it really wasn't.

£12 for a Yorkshire wrap! Charged additional £2.50 for 3 roast potatoes and £2.50 for a few veg. Outrageous. Staff wasn't very nice when I asked are you seriously going to charge me £2.50 for 3 roasties? First and last time will go here. Felt fleeced and wasn't filling.

I've been twice, had the carvery wrap with turkey and today the bap with pork. Both were great and really tasty. The prices are above average (carvery wrap is 7.5, bap is 6) but there is always a queue and that says a lot. I'll visit again when I need a quick lunch.

Good bakery with a great selection of goods as well as good ready made sandwiches to take out. Staff are very lovely and welcoming, with quick polite service. Overall a good corner bakery with great baked goods

Just bought 2 sandwiches in there and they are delicious. Huge will loads of salad. Bought a loaf as they look lovely. Not tired it yet. Will be going back to try some other bits.

Love this place. Great range of breads, so always something different to try. Even a great range of sweet cakes for when your looking for a treat.Brilliant range of hot takeaway roll, made to order.
