I had the opportunity to visit Liverpool Docks, and I was very impressed. The docks are clean and well-maintained, and there is something for everyone to enjoy. I especially enjoyed visiting the Tate Liverpool, which has a world-class collection of modern and contemporary art.

We came through the docks on our narrow boat to moor in Salthouse. Great place to moor for the week. Plenty of places to see and visit.

Another dock located down beside the Royal Albert Dock. Lots of narrows boats moored here.Great view across the dock towards the city. You can walk around the perimeter of the dock.

Watery as expected. Can be rather stinky in places. Could perhaps do with some nice smelling plants or something to counter this.

Excellent 4 nights on our Narrow Boat at the Salt House docks, there are numerous museums, Tate gallery and plenty of places to eat and drink
