We had a great experience dealing with Justin at New Forest bike hire. He gave us an exceptional route through the forest mostly on gravel tracks that would be suitable for riders of all levels on one of the electric mountain bikes. The quality of the equipment is great too! They give you all the tools you need to ensure you will get back safely. There are so many different options of where to explore when starting from New Forest bike hire in Lymington. I would highly recommend hiring a bike from them to explore the local area on the comfort of an electric bike.

We hired two brand spanking new mountain bikes for a very reasonable price from Adrian and his team. They were great fun and went above and beyond to help us. Adrian sent us his surf and turf" route along the coast and then up through the forest. We had a great day out and will definitely be coming back!"

We hired bikes in early September. We hired 2 mountain bikes and they were comfortable and in excellent condition, they were delivered to the lodge where we were staying and Adriaan could not have been more helpful and accommodating. He was able to work around our timings, was friendly and had great advice about routes etc and showed genuine interest in our experience. Would certainly recommend to others. The shop is also in a good location, being in the centre of Lymington.

Great mountain bike hire spot with solid equipment, route advice and staff.We hired a range of bikes for a mixed-skill group including some e-bikes and some regular mountain bikes. Maps are cheap (£ per route) and very easy to use for navigation. Repair kit and backpack were included for free. Loved it, had a great time. Price to level of bike a good match.

Despite booking in advance, I was given a bike designed for a man with high cross bar and long thin saddle. Having been fine on the correct bike when we visited a few months ago, today I was so uncomfortable that I had to return the bike after just 30 minutes of riding. There was no hint of any return of the £38 paid for the bike, (or of an apology) when I spoke to the manager. I was not able to join my family on the ride. I feel I would have been treated differently if I had not been a woman and in my fifties. The manager was more interested in joking about the fact I was upset.

Justin the salesman was very knowledgeable & advised us on the type of bike we needed, he spent time with us even though we said we were just tentatively looking to possibly purchase in the future. He was so easy to talk to friendly & gave his time willingly to us when we weren't even buying.Because of his friendly attitude we went back & purchased 2 bikes from him later on that week. One had an issue but this was no problem for NF Bikes even though we lived 200 miles away.
