Steve of SRB Moorings is a really nice, helpful guy. When our first choice proved too shallow and we came aground, he gave us a quick tow and showed us a better place to moor. His mooring fee is reasonable- especially considering this is some of the most beautiful Thameside scenery to be had!

We are delighted we decided to hire a boat from Steve at SRB Moorings. Steve couldnt have been more friendly and helpful and as first timers, we really appreciated the time he took to explain and demonstrate everything to us. He was also available on the phone to help with any queries we may have had. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience and our trip, and had two shattered kids at the end of the day! We always use Steve when we’re on The Thames. He is really friendly and helpful and his moorings are excellently located and easy to find. My wife and I hired a boat for an hour on Easter Sunday - it was a super busy weekend and most of the boats were fully booked. Steve very kindly slotted us in for a 1 hour hire after his usual closing time. He did his absolute best to accommodate us and the service was second to none.Prices are very fair - so no complaints there.We hired the boat Spoonbill and it was great, it had a larger outboard motor than a lot of the other hire boats for better overtaking :)I will definitely be using SRB when I go back to Henley - I was kindly showed around the other vessels and they look superb.All in a great company with a personal touch. I read another review recommending SRB and thought I'd pass on the good advice.Anyone looking to hire in Henley should certainly give SRB a go - you won't be disappointed!!Thanks

Always excellent!We have, along with our Cruiser Club, used SRB moorings for well over a decade, and Steve always makes us feel like a part of the family! I recently booked Rewind moorings, and as I cruised upstream looking for my mooring, Steve actually phoned me and told me I had just gone past it! Amazing because I couldn’t see him at the time, but sure enough he was spot on as always. It’s a pleasure to visit Henley and have such a total professional in charge of a great team looking after these moorings. The added bonus of Steve’s local knowledge can be extremely useful too, and has saved me lots of time and money over the years! We also use his river taxi service when the Henley festival is on, which is much safer than trying to operate our boats tender after a few drinks. 100% score without a doubt, and that’s not taking into account the hilarious tales one hears on board...

We hired the Spoonbill from Steve yesterday and has a fabulous time! Steve advised us where to park easily and then when to find find him on the water with the boat. We were on it for 6 hrs which flew by, the boat was very comfortable. Thank you for a great day out Steve!! Highly recommended!!

Best moorings on the Thames!A group of us have been mooring in various parts of Henley for the past 20 years and Steve is always friendly, helpful and accommodating.He even went out of his way to squeeze us in last minute for Rewind this year by sacrificing his own living/work space for which we are so greatful as that made our festival. Highly recommended!!!

I have known Steve for over 9 years during which time I have regularly used his Taxi Services and taken several of his Charter Boats. I have found his prices the best in the area, his boats to be superior/well maintained compared to competitors in Henley and his knowledge of the waters extensive.I have considered purchasing a boat of my own to use over the summer months, but in reflection it would be a big unnecessary expense while Steve and SRB are doing what they do.
