Fantastic bakery! What a gem of a place! Every Saturday morning I come here to get a fresh loaf of bread and some sweet pastries. Not overpriced and the staff are so friendly. Lucky to have this place in the square. Not many bakeries like this around anymore. Keep up the good work!

This has always been a great little bakery, but I feel like they’ve really upped their game recently. The sandwiches are great and the cakes are lovely. They have a big selection now, with vegetarian options and the staff are friendly and helpful.

I have been coming to this bakery since I was old enough to eat cakes, the cream split doughnut is my fave, but all of the cakes are lovely! The quality is always high and the food always fresh!My mum always has the sausage baps and she loves them.... wont even let her grandchildren steal a bite cos it's her favourite place for sausage baps?Cant wait for my baby to be old enough for them to have a cake from there like I did as a little one

Don’t like it When got Out They said it was hot but 2 mins later damp really cold don’t like prices won’t come again I prefer Riches in Barking by the bus garage also one thing why don’t u open Sundays like riches cause riches open Sunday 11am-5pm and Monday- Saturday 7am-7pm

The woman with the dyed black hair & glasses made me feel uncomfortable, she spoke about me in front of me with another customer over me not specifically saying 'SPLIT doughnut'. Saying the jam & cream doughnuts at the bottom suffices since they were the only kind there. It's unfortunate seeing women who are in their 30s-40s try to act like mean girls in school. You're in customer service, please refrain from making inappropriate comments. The jam & cream SPLIT doughnut was pretty nice though, an 8/10.Also the cheese & onion pasty is very salty and made me feel sick.

Absolutely fantastic home made sandwiches on day fresh bread at the best prices !!! It's like the good old days of a bakers sandwich.!They will happily make you up whatever combination you wish with fresh ingredients on the tastiest yummy rolls and crusty bread. EXCELLENT VALUE
