Appalling. Natalie Smith at the Loughton branch was happy to take payment for handling my late mother’s estate which took a year. However she failed to assist me in another matter with the EFDC even though she had offered to do so. 12 emails and several voicemails later and she still refuses to respond. Very disappointing and unprofessional

We have been recommending Attwaters to our sellers and buyers now for over 18 years, not only for their great Conveyancing department but also for Wills & Probate, Family Law, etc. A brilliant service - always happy to talk and to help influence the speed of a home move. A well established company who many of us have used for our own personal home moves and legal needs. We highly recommend them!

Started well but ended very poorly.I used Attwaters for conveyancing purposes. Initially, things went well and smoothly however when it got closer to exchange my emails were consistently ignored and it made the whole process unnecessarily stressful and hardwork. Thankfully I was passed on from a Senior Partner who was dealing with the case (or not dealing to be precise) to a junior 'Katharina' who was absolutely fanstastic.

Needed urgently to know the name of the solicitor dealing with the case - nothing more just the name of the solicitor to enable our solicitor to write direct to them no details of the matter were requested. They refused to give out this information - totally unprofessional. A very important letter would then languish in their post room - disgusting!

I cannot recommend Sheri-Anne and the rest of her team in the conveyancing department at Attwaters enough. I used them for the purchase of my first property and they were attentive and responsive throughout the whole process, a pleasant surprise compared to most people’s experiences with other solicitors during the home-buying process. They were particularly good at dealing with the nuances of my share of freehold purchase and were happy to answer all my of questions, no matter how trivial or silly. Thank you Sheri-Anne & team!

Iv known better to be honest

Abysmal service, I had the great displeasure of using this company for the purchase of my freehold. This took nearly 2 years, and I was passed around 3 separate solicitors over that period. The handovers between them were poor to non existent as I found myself having to explain to them what it was they should be doing in regards to my case. Reading through the notes and email exchanges was obviously beyond them. It was frequently difficult to contact them, with responses often taking up to two weeks. Promises of call backs by secretaries were generally disregarded and the amount of chasing up that had to be done for their complete incompetence was truly mind boggling yet they still demanded top dollar for the pitiful work they put in. Overpriced, unprofessional and utterly useless. Avoid them at all costs, you have been warned.

We recently concluded a sale, acting as Estate Agents for a mutual client of Attwaters Jameson Hill. Katharina Vidojevic was our contact and she quickly impressed us with her efficiency and communication skills. We would have no hesitation in recommending Katharina in the future to clients, family and friends. Her attention to detail was most refreshing!

I used this solicitors in 2013 to buy my shared ownership flat. Wasn't impressed with Sheri Anne Mizon at all. Constantly had to chase her up on everything and nearly ended up waiting an extra month to move because she didn't ask for a mortgage extension in time. I ended up staging a sit-in in the front office, on the day of the agreed completion, having had to call the mortgage company myself in tears begging them to renew it- something she said we didn't need to do but turned out we did. We only completed on that day because I made an absolute nuisance of myself. When I sold the flat two years ago I used an amazing conveyancer who was efficient, easy to get hold of, and earnt every penny I paid her. Would not use Sheri Ann ever again-- there are better conveyancers out there.

After talking to them on the phone I was far from being confident, the person had no idea what she was talking about and the whole phonecall was awkward. Called someone else, much better and cheaper. I managed to avoid.
