Having suffered with anxiety for a number of years I became frustrated on how it was making me feel and effecting my life. Having tried a few options to help nothing seemed to work. It wasn’t until someone mentioned hypnotherapy that I thought about giving it a go. At first I was very sceptical (and nervous) but meeting Dawn for the first time she put me at ease straight away and we got talking like we’d known each other for years (which calmed my nerves) explaining to Dawn how my anxiety was effecting my work and home life she listened very attentively. Having sessions with Dawn has improved my mental health massively (whereby colleagues at work are even commenting on the change in me that they’ve seen) I cannot thank Dawn enough for giving me a new lease of life and for her ongoing help and support. I have recommend Dawn to numerous friends on how well she has helped me , I would urge others to do the same if they struggle with mental health. I approached Dawn for help dealing with anxiety that I was experiencing while skiing, an activity I enjoy very much. I was willing to try a session with Dawn, without a fixed view of how things might work out. So I was very pleased that this worked well. Back on the ski slopes I felt a level of calm and greater focus that enabled me to enjoy what I was doing even in difficult weather conditions.

I would recommend Dawn to anyone, her voice is so relaxing and she has changed my life for definitely the better. I went with stress as it doesn't help the fibromyalgia flare ups I have, fibromyalgia had started to taken over my life and I was suffering 98% of the time and now because I don't stress so much I have had one flare up in two weeks and the odd little niggle, I feel like I cope better which in turn helps with my sleeping and stress levels. Absolutely fantastic working with Dawn,I have visited twice for different areas in my life; one was for an uncontrollable fear with driving and I can say after one session I was able to complete a whole journey, with my husband! I went to see Dawn due to a serious ongoing problem I had suffered with for over around 18 months. I had seen around 3-4 therapists before her, who either I didn’t click with or I didn’t feel I was making any substantial progress/change with.During our initial conversation and in our sessions, Dawn was attentive and it was clear she knew her stuff.She made sure to address the major and minor issues I brought to her. She has a large skill set and is very experienced in what she does. Within 4-5 sessions, I feel she had help me heal the issues that took over my life.Something I really value about Dawn is her integrity and how honest she is with me. She was quick to steer things back in a solution focused direction and in a friendly way, reassured me of any overthinking on my part!It is clear that she is passionate about helping people and unlike other therapists, she’s determined to help you heal as soon as you feel like you can. I never felt as though she was dragging out sessions or trying to retain me unnecessarily. She listens to your needs and genuinely cares for her clients. I would definitely recommend Dawn!

Highly recommend Dawn. In the small amount of time I have been seeing Dawn she has helped me overcome some of my anxiety and habits that were making me unhappy. Dawn is totally relatable and easy to talk too. I have always struggled talking about my feelings but Dawn has really helped me overcome this. Dawn fitted me in an appointment with short notice. I went with extreme exam anxiety and the fear of failure. Since the hypnotherapy, I have a much more positive attitude towards exams and feel that failure is no longer the end of the world. I have an upcoming exam and hope I will be able to remain calmer and follow techniques Dawn has taught me. Definitely worth the time and money, I would highly recommend.
