We had a wonderful morning here as a birthday present. Steve was a brilliant teacher and we were very pleased with what we created.

On holiday in Wales, we visited St.Davids and were lucky enough to stumble upon this lovely glass shop / gallery and studio. The glassware is breathtaking, and whilst we had not considered before the possibility of a bespoke art splash-back, we ordered one there and then. It is now in situ, and reminds us of a wonderful holiday not just every day, but more beautifully than we hoped. We were so impressed with the splash-back quality and the customer care that we commissioned Steve to design and produce some bespoke bathroom glass panels to go around the bath and sink. This simple change transformed a small, ordinary bathroom into a most natural and tranquil space - it is the room most commented on by visitors, and several friends now have their own designs being made real by Steve. Thank you so much Steve, and wife Hannah, for our very special glass, and your first class personal and professional service. John Gibbens, Hertford.

My first 2 day course with Steve. A fun and rewarding experience producing many beautiful pieces of fused glass to bring home in addition to the large panel that was created on day 2. I learned a lot from Steve who is generous with his time, knowledge and experience. Lovely lunches and refreshments. I would recommend this course for both beginners and those with glass fusing experience who wish to develop skills using enamels.

A really fun and informative taster session in glass enamel fusing. Steve explained the process clearly, with great real life examples of each point he made. Then we all got stuck in to realise our designs in glass, fully supported by Steve’s expertise. I’m delighted with my tile, and looking forward to doing the tea light taster in the future.

Fabulous glass starter evening. Steve has the patience of a Saint, and is so knowledgeable about his trade. He helped when needed, gave us advice, then let us as individuals use our own ideas and abilities when we felt inspired by his enthusiasm.

Best Birthday TreatAs a complete novice to fused glass, I found Steve to be a very patient, encouraging tutor and nothing was too much trouble. I enjoyed every moment of the day from start to finish!I booked a one day workshop as my recent 60th Birthday treat. When I arrived, Steve was very welcoming and explained health & safety, and how the day would run. He then gave an interesting explanation of the different types of glass fusing, how it is achieved and with numerous examples for inspiration. We would be using enamel powders to create the designs either in a transparent or opaque finish. Steve then demonstrated how to apply the powders in creating a tea light panel, before I had a go at making my own as a practice piece in preparation for my larger wall panel. An included Sunday lunch at the local pub followed and I have to say was superb! Later, I was helped by Steve to draw out and cut stencils for my wall panel design. He cut out some shapes in glass to add layers of interest. In-between colouring my main panel, I was encouraged to experiment with designs on more tea light panels. The finished pieces all went in the kiln overnight. Collecting them the next day, I was delighted with the results. Steve also let me take home his demo piece, so I came away with 4 smaller artworks as well as my main one.A really wonderful day and experience that I will never forget. I can't wait to do another workshop with Steve. Maybe to mark my 61st birthday!
