It's a unique experience to have a photographer in your home, especially with a brand new baby and Ruth made it all so easy and comfortable. I wanted our pictures to be natural and give a real sense of how we are which I think Ruth achieved. Brilliant communication before and after the shoot. If you're looking for a relaxed approach to family photography, I'd definitely recommend Ruth.

Ruth is an amazing family friendly photographer, she immediately put my husband, baby son and I at ease. We loved the location of the photoshoot which was a gorgeous setting for the late summer season. The photos turned out so well and were really natural. Ruth was our photographer at our charity Ladies Lunch at The Grand in Southport, which is a beautiful venue and which Ruth captured using stylish shots of our guests looking relaxed and enjoying time with friends and family. There aren’t enough words to say how much we not only loved our pictures, but also the whole photoshoot experience with Ruth. From her ideas for places to go, to her flexibility with our timing schedules and trying all sorts to make sure our toddler loved the experience too, Ruth was brilliant.Then to top it all off, our pictures are unreal. We asked Ruth to photograph our wedding which was a very small family affair. She captured the day beautifully and we're absolutely delighted with how the photos turned out. Ruth made us and our 3 year old feel completely at ease and this is definitely reflected in the photos. I was very impressed with her professionalism and preparation. We chose Ruth to capture some pics of us before and after we became a family of 5. We opted for an outdoor maternity shoot at 35 weeks and an indoor newborn shoot at home, 10 days after our baby girl was born. Ruth found the perfect location for our maternity shoot and our children and us felt at ease with her around. It was so relaxed and she has some beautiful ideas to photograph our growing family.Once baby arrived, Ruth spent some timewith us at home and captured such beautiful images of us all together, baby alone and all her precious little details. At what is a very vulnerable time, full of change, Ruth was calming, understanding and put us all at ease. We are so happy with how the pictures have turned out and we will be able to cherish these special memories forever. Her attention to detail is second to none, even when coordinate 2 very tired parents and 3 children under 5. We would highly recommend investing in Ruth, you won’t be disappointed.

We can’t recommend Ruth highly enough! We had a wonderful shoot at home earlier this year when our youngest was a few weeks old and she did a great job looking after us, entertaining our toddler and coping with our dog taking great interest in her camera. We had to rearrange a couple of times due to various illnesses and Ruth was so helpful and understanding. We really are so pleased with how the images turned out, they’re so special and we hope we can arrange some more family sessions over the years x

I bought a voucher for grandparents for Christmas and what Ruth delivered was the best gift we could have ever bought. Ruth was the perfect photographer for us. Her brief asked a ton of questions so we were both on the same page before the shoot, she had a great idea for a location (which is now one of our favourite places to visit) and her communication before, during and after has been impeccable. On the actual shoot she had lots of ideas for how we could pose in a natural way and even brought her own props. She was more than happy chasing after our young son, rolling around in the sand and entertaining him and therefore the pictures came out exactly as we wanted - super natural and fun, perfectly capturing the energy of our family. She wasn’t phased by anything, even when my now fiancé pulled out an engagement ring mid shoot! I would definitely book Ruth again - it was one of my favourite ever days.
