John designed and made a custom fitted wardrobe for our attic room and was professional, knowledgeable and helpful from start to finish. Grain was recommended to me by a close friend to recreate our living space from what I can only call a limited brief. One of my companies used John to refit our store in the west end. He was overly expensive, quoted for things he had no ability to deliver (and subsequently withdrew the quote after we asked for some reference work which he was unable to provide) and refused to negotiate on the price. When he did the work he was rude, disdainful and arrogant. When we complained that the work did not meet the expensive price we had been quoted, his colleague refused to address our concerns, just kept asking to be paid in full and then threatened legal action. In the end they offered a small discount but even that was done begrudgingly and without any apology. Dealing with this company has been stressful and unpleasant and I would discourage anyone from using them.

John at Grain Bespoke Furniture was great, very professional and really helpful. His work is of a really high level and quality, we are so happy with the results and would definitely recommend.
