A old style local, watch many sports on 3 televisions.Quite a good outdoor space, even has a large TV outside.I would say a man's pub

This is our regular 'watering hole'. Good selection of beers, Aspall on tap and regular live entertainment.Friendly staff and regulars make for a lovely atmosphere.

Most people are decent in there although one guy called Alan is a bully and any outsiders be aware coz he does drink a lot and becomes very violent as we found out after several hours of being very nice to us he started smashing glasses and came at my friend and I, we had to run out as the whole pub turned on us as they quite clearly don't like town people. I wouldn't white a review about a place when it was only one bloke who ruined the night but it was how the whole place turned including the landlord and landlady when they all saw he started theft whole thing. We were going to get jumped by the lot of them if we didn't run. Great night made into a nightmare by a bully and a pub that cater four the got they're scared of. Terrible place that cares more for the person who starts trouble as they're scared than the innocent people who just wanted to have a nice time and chose that pub to do so. Never ever again will I or anyone I know visit that establishment again. I advise any who read this to do the same and stay as far away as possible, you will be treated good to start with and then bad towards the end.

First visit, went to follow the band, locals very welcoming good selection of beers and gin. Staff hard working but still with smiles.Will visit again.

A local on my way home, so only the one.Traditional pub, just like they once where. Drink up at bar, sit at the large kegs tables.Made to feel welcome.. looking forward to another visit.

Lovely little pub, had a great atmosphere and the barman Will was hilarious, a real fun character. The live band, Guns For Hire, were also absolutely amazing and really helped make the night. Definitely going back.

What a little gem! Why was I not told of this place before? Friendly, humorous staff, good selection of beers and cider, TV screens dotted about both inside and out, excellent pool table AND, from the large flag displayed in the outdoor seating area, they support East Anglia's top football team, ITFC!
