Brilliant Course. Relatively short with some drivable par 4's and blind tee shots. Would recommend a course guide if playing for the first time.

Nice course good greens. Exceptional views. Good for an occasional round but too many blind shots and quite hilly, Subject to coastal winds. Good food in clubhouse.

Undulating is an understatement. Blind shot after blind shot, no idea where you're landing and rolling off to. Penal rough, ok greens, nice clubhouse. Condition of fairways poor and more holes need bells to alert people teeing off its safe to go.

Fantastic views, played mid Feb 2023 and the course was in excellent condition. Firm fairways and true and surprisingly quick greens. Quite short but very tricky in the wind. Would play again.

Lovely walk (public right of way) across the golf course (keep to the marked path). You can park opposite the clubhouse but not many spaces. You are not allowed in the clubhouse unless you are a member.

Fabulous course, up there with one of our favourites. Great views, an interesting layout and a good challenge. Nice big car park suitable for our motorhome and friendly staff.

We thought in October they would be on winter green fees. £65 is a bit steep when there is so much groundwork being carried out, and the course has obviously seen heavy traffic. The greens were very slow and the course looked tired. Nice clubhouse and nice views but not worth the money.

Bamburgh Castle Golf Club
Bamburgh is a fantastic golf course, up there with the best. It has to be one of the most picturesque you can play as the scenery is outstanding. The staff are very friendly and welcoming too. Perfect.
