Lovely little chippy discovered on way home from Winchester. Not too expensive but has nice atmosphere and the food was excellent.My wife had cod and chips. I had a cheeseburger with hot chilli sauce. Lovely.Would happily stop here again.

Awful experience, I was actually in shock at the customer service here from the young girls serving.You must ask for everything you want as they won’t ask you if you want anything in your burger or even if you want salt and vinegar on your chips. They even gave me all the food without a bag which then proceeded to burn me as a walked out with it.Food was okay, but the service really did shock me. Definitely not what you would expect in Midhurst.

Gave it 4 stars overall as its expensive. The food is top notch though. They take card. The woman who was serving was very angry with the cook on this occasion so made the atmosphere less than welcoming.

We’ve been doing a bit of a fish and chip tour around the south east of England over the past couple months, after our weekly hikes.Ocean Blue is by far our favourite yet.We pre booked over the phone, and the lady who answered was super friendly and polite, made sure to get the order right.The service inside the shop was very warm, friendly and professional. Hello, service with a smile, goodbye and all that.The food itself was top quality. You can tell when the scampi inside the breaded layer is intact in one piece that quality of food is important to the shop owners.The cod was superb. Perfectly battered, well cooked. Chips were excellent.Curry sauce had a great consistency, slight kick to it and rich in flavour.All served hot and well packaged.Added this spot to my map favourites. Definitely coming here again if I’m in the area.

Fry off ! Rip Off , Visited The Branch on Sunday at around 5 .30 pm , it was not busy .I ordered a selection from their Menu , Been there a few times as we are locals resideints and its been generally good .However today I was disappointed in the so called LARGE Cod and fries .The cost at 6.40 , anyone would expect a decent size and crispy batter and hot . Waited a few minutes as there was none in the holding bin I asked for the Large Cod as this would be lovely and fresh .When the young lady at the counter asked us would you like salt and vinegar , I declined as this would ensure a soggy fish .She was very fast to box them up , to which I was interested to see the fish . I noticed the fish was small and around 6 oz and some but definitely not 8 oz as suggested by the cook . He said this size would depend on the water content in the fish , he also said they had issues with the sizes of the fillets that they have previously sold as they were a lot bigger .I was slightly confused with his giberish and excuses . Surely in this cut and throat business of Catering , I think its important to look after your customers to ensure a successful business long term and not fool the customer .I did also notice the shop inside was looking grubby , the stainless steel counter was dirty and the floor could have done with a good scrub . The rest of the orders seemed to be fine , however chips were slightly under cooked and not crispy .... Perhaps the shop name could be changed to sloppy Joe's .
