We really enjoyed our Sunday lunch at Falcons Nest today . Service by Vaso was very friendly and she was very accommodating to specific food requests. She made us feel very welcome and gave us a giggle. The food was delicious, chef's named as James and Andrew. We all really enjoyed the tasty Sunday Lunch, tender meat and lovely flavours from the roasted vegetables. The Yorkshire puddings were perfect ( im not a fan of huge over cooked Yorkshires!)Overall a lovely meal, just a little more pricey than we would usually pay.

Myself, my wife and our Labrador Leo visited on Friday lunchtime for a birthday lunch. My wife mentioned when booking that it was for my birthday and there was a couple of Happy Birthday signs on and around the table which was a very nice touch.We were served by Alex & Vas and they were extremely friendly throughout and nothing was too much hassle. Leo also got lots of attention which he was a huge fan of and we really appreciated the great service.I had the beef brisket sandwich and my wife had the steak pie. The sandwich was off the lunch menu and was a good size with plenty of brisket in the sandwich which was tender and tasty. The beef dripping sauce packed in a lot of flavour and I’d definitely recommend for a good value lunch meal. My wife’s portion looked good and hefty which would fill most and she was very happy with the pastry encasing the pie as elsewhere you often just get the crust on top of the pie which I always see as a slight cop out. We also got some halloumi fries which were crispy and very well cooked with a flavoursome chilli relish which I’d definitely have again. All cooked very well by Jason & Michael.Unfortunately I was running the Blaydon Race later that day, so couldn’t push the boat out for any desserts but I’ll definitely make the effort next time. Leo was a big fan of the dog biscuits, so we’ll have to head back very soon to keep him happy!Thanks for the great service and food, we really appreciate it.

Food was lovely, especially the burger. Staff were amazing, we were served by Abigail and Abbie K- they even brought over a special dessert because it was my birthday. Would definitely recommend.

What happened with the food these days?? Somewhat dissapointing visit on this occasion.Tried the HONEY & TRUFFLE BAKED CAMEMBERT . Sadly It was bland and tasteless. although it said it comes with sourdough, it instead came with something that resembled bruschetta. Not what I was expecting.The mains didn't wow me. Not like last time i was here.Two waitresses served us. One was lovely, the other slammed drinks and dishes down onto the table like she was having a bad day. Frustrating experience.

Visited the falcons nest for the first time today for me and my wife on our wedding anniversary ,a friend recommended this place and it was a really nice decision to go. Lovely staff(Natalie) big shout out to Nathan the chef food was lovely, my wife had the fish n chips and I had the patisserie chicken ,for pudding I had the Honey pot desert and OMG .. my wife had the creme brulee

Lovey afternoon catching up with a dear friend.The Nest is immaculate, very clean and beautifully decorated and is also dog friendly!The staff are warm, welcoming and very helpful. Going above and beyond when we had a problem with our order.The food was delicious, well presented and the menu is varied.Highly recommended and we will be returning very soon.

Great breakfast on a Sunday morning- Pancakes were amazing, we loved the atmosphere within the pub, Vaso was extremely kind and welcoming, we had a good laugh with her. I definitely recommend, we will be back again for sure!
