An initial visit to our garden was made and the job described and quotation made. Dates easily arranged for the work to be carried out and the team arrived promptly and set to. They worked all day long and the job was mostly finished by the end of the day. An hour on Day 2 saw the job completed to a high standard.At all times , they were courteous and very professional and I would have no hesitation in recommending Hopwood Garden and Landscaping Services as a reliable and hard working set of people.Many thanks. Having discussed my requirements with Matt, the guys did a fabulous job laying a large patio in the back garden. They had previously put up fencing so I knew they would do a great job. They turned up on time, worked like trojans all day and went above and beyond, including taking some off the gate to make sure it doesn't stick. They also cleaned up including sweeping the footpath. As I said to the lads, I think the patio is better built than the house! Can't recommend them enough.

Having been recommended Matt and Hopwood Gardening services from a friend at work who’d had a patio laid I asked for a quote for a recessed manhole cover to be fitted.I had been let down by three other people (guessing as the job was small) I’d emailed a few local companies. Not only was Matt the first to reply, as he was ahead on a job was able to fit me in the next day! The work was completed to a very high standard, before I have even received any other response from any of the other companies!I’m over the moon that the patio is now finished off and cannot thank Matt and his team enough for taking the same amount of detail in the smaller work as they would in their larger jobs.

I needed a rotting old fence replaced with new gravel boards and concrete posts to be fitted and new panels. Matt and the team did an excellant job - punctual, friendly and hard working. Highly recommended and i will definately use them again.

Matt (and Simon) did an excellent job of installing a new patio, walkways, fencing and sleeper bed, overhauling the back garden this summer. They worked really hard when it was a hot few weeks. I'm really pleased with the outcome and how lovely it looks. I was also particularly impressed with Matt's attention to detail on some points around the angle/positioning of the beds and on the fencing. Matt at quotation gave me a high degree of confidence that everything had been considered, taking the time to explain everything and proactive communication thereafter. I was also pleased that after digging out the garden the waste was quickly taken away in first couple of days and I was pleased with the general level of tidiness during those weeks, they did what they could to keep disruption to a minimum. We have just had our garden completely re-landscaped by the Hopwood Garden Service team. They arrived every day on time no matter what the weather conditions. They worked incredibly hard it was back breaking work digging out in the pouring rain but they just kept on working. It was not only the effort they put in everyday but their politeness, attention to detail plus professionalism with which they transformed our garden into the design we had agreed.They gave us great advice when we met them to discuss our options for the design of our garden, which looking at the final outcome was advice well worth taking. A big thanks to Matt and his team for creating a garden we can enjoy for years to come.

I have a six foot fence, raised on top of a four foot wall and supported by wooden godfathers built into the wall. During the recent storms, 2 of the godfathers snapped making the fence unstable and dangerous. I contacted Hopwood Garden Services on Monday, they came and looked at the problem the same day and promised to return on Wednesday to do the job. They arrived on time, put in 7 concrete godfathers and made my fence completely secure, completed some additional corner fencing and tidied up some of the rear fence - all in a day. I can't speak to highly of the service, professionalism and value for money.

Our garden needed major works doing and not many companies would or could take on the job.But Hopwood Garden Services absolutely transformed it for us: a lovely oak sleeper retaining wall, two sets of new steps, a huge new patio, and a lovely path running around the side and front of the house. They also cut back a hedge that had blocked light for years. All very high quality workmanship.They worked on all this through snow, rain and clay mud, with limited access from the road, fixing many problems as they went.You won't find a more professional, meticulous and hard working company. We are so pleased with everything Matt and his team have done. Thank you.
