I go to this butchers shop at snow Hill in Wakefield often I love there own made chicken Kiev garlic but I went in today and bought 2 homemade pie,s for the first time we had the steak one for tea and there absolutely gorgeous will be buying again

Iv given 5* because it's normally better.Called to day lacking stock was only able to get bacon and steak. Normally get shin beef chicken breast pack,pork chops and pork loin chops and belly pork. And eggs but not today if I find this again I will change the 5* to 2 to 3

First steak I tried from here just now. It looked the part before and after cooking but was like chewing on a tyre. My jaw is aching really badly and i really think my body will struggle to digest. Only buy from here if you fancy a trip to the dentist.

Please update your opening hours on Google just raced down after work to get here for 5:30 and closed at 5… :/ love a local butchers, but none of them seem to be open late evenings which makes it impossible to get meat after work without going to a big supermarket … feel like there’s a gap in the market for a later weeknight butchers

Let me son pick what he wanted for tea (he’s 9) choose a Barnsley chop, absolutely loved it. He got stuck in & the bone marrow was the first to go, a great buy. Clean plate all round
