Great bridge for crossing the river Itchen and has 2 parks and coalporters steps which are great for access to the water and riverbed at low tide and unrestricted parking too. Can have some magnificent grafitti art at times

Cycle / bus lanes now make it far easier to to cross safely.Fantastic collection of old stolen safes dumped below the tide line on the city side of the bridge.

Great alternative to Itchen Bridge if you do not wish to pay the toll. Even better now it's back to two lanes in both directions.

It’s a lovely bridge that crosses the river Itchen.It joins Bitterne Manor to Northam & on towards the city centre.It’s a duel carriaged road but with a 30mph speed limit & there is a speed camera going east.
