We've had a total house renovation and the stair runner was the last job on the list. Carpet Town stood out as one of the best tradespeople we used. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.I contacted 5 local carpet fitters and Joe was one of 3 that bothered replying. He gave us an estimate, via email which he stuck to. They were also the cheapest of the 3.Joe is an excellent communicator and kept us up-to-date with our order at every stage. I never had to chase him at any point.His colleague Karl came over and spent a good 2/3 hours measuring up. He was also a very good communicator, clearly knew his stuff and took his time explaining the different ways we could have the runner laid. We're pretty detail originated and we appreciated the time he took to talk this over. Some might be tempted to just not give the customer any options and just lay it the easiest/quickest way.Once the runner was whipped Karl came back and fit the 2 flights in less than a day. He was very professional, friendly and clearly had a love for his job. After a year of renovation work we've come to appreciate somebody who doesn't come banging and crashing into your home. There was no moaning or making a big deal about the job, he just calmly got on with it.Also worth mentioning that when he cleaned up, the stairs were cleaner than when he started!The runner we chose was Fibre easy care, bouclet Purbeck just in case anyone reading finds it useful.

What a brilliant Carpet Company, such a genuine place to go to if you’re planning to change your house carpet. I drove in just to check the price after paying the deposit elsewhere but when Joe quoted me his price it was very competitive & the service he provided was nothing short than perfect, twice drove over with the carpet samples, arranged the carpenter to trim the doors for a thicker carpet that I choose & lastly the lads that turned up to fit the carpet they were just amazing working their way down for 3 days continuously to fit the whole house with no complaints & always smiling.

Joe was recommended to us by a friend, and his quote was significantly better than two rooms we had already had done elsewhere for the same carpet. The work was completed promptly and to a high standard, and Joe was also flexible in fixing an issue we had with an old carpet for us, as well as relaying some other carpet we had taken up for building work. Overall very pleased, would recommend, and use again.

This is the third carpet I bought from Carpet Town. Family run business I believe in supporting local businesses. Service was great from start to the end. Even the carpet fitter did an amazing job he even hoovered the carpet.They have a showroom with all different variety of carpets to choose from. The person I dealt with was Joe.
