Islingword Road Sub Post Office

George Santos has been such a great and attentive postman. Always friendly and willing to go the extra mile. We are very sad he’s longer going to be delivering to us. He will be missed! Thanks for everything George

I would give this zero stars but there wasn’t an option to… incredibly rude man refused to serve us to post a package with no explanation. We were told that the post office was shut as soon as we walked in, even though we then saw 5 people come out having posted their parcel. When we went back in to question the horrible man and he snapped at us, gaslighting us saying that ‘no i told you you couldn't post it as there was a queue’. There was no queue. He was talking to us as if we were on the bottom of his shoe. I explained i was not happy with his rudeness and he told me to stand outside if i was going to be rude and it has nothing to do with me. My friends where then told that its policy and they wouldn’t understand. If there is a policy that states we cannot post internationally on a Sunday we would have excepted that however we were just shut down and refused in a horrible manner. Don’t go basically.

Always knowledgeable and friendly. Opening hours are amazing.Can't help but think a few of the salty reviews are by people that still think they are able to talk to retail staff like dirt (as witnessed on several occasions in here). Peace and love ❤️

The most rude, grumpy, judgemental people in Brighton work there. You’ll walk in and they’ll just stare at you like you’re not supposed to be there, then service is just a disgrace. Please somebody fire all and hire new people I beg.

Amazing! So useful & their usual opening times couldn't make my life easier - I normally with travelling time from 8 til 7, so to be able to get to a PO after work is great. I've never had to wait too long, plus I've always found them helpful & informative. Well done & thank you for staying open during Covid.

One of the best customer service experiences I've experienced, anywhere, ever.I was helped by an individual with star tattoos on their arm, they helped me with everything I needed and they were friendly and understanding. Will be back for postage needs. Give them a bonus. Thanks.

A post office that has served the community for years. Although the selection of convenience store items (such as fridge food) isnt massive what they do brag is the usual post office services available at a later time than usual. The most convenient being cash withdrawals.

Shame it appears some have been upset by disability discrimination. There are quite a few members of staff, so perhaps a bad egg? For me the service has been rock solid on every occasion. Islingword isn't even that local to me but I've switched my default Post Office as the opening hours are unbeatable!
