Got my first tattoo here jay was super nice and friendly and chatty he made me feel less nervous. the tattoo is super cute, I love this place so much!

I had previously given this place 5 stars. I really liked the friendly staff and Jack did a good job although my tattoo was basic. J was also very friendly.This was my first tattoo and I agree I must have done something wrong during the care but when I went for the touch up the counter staff suddenly became rude and when I told them I didn’t do it intentionally, suddenly I was the one who was rude. Well they refused to do the touch up and offer any more services because I was rude to the counter staff. But I guess that’s subjective because I wasn’t, I was just telling them I didn’t do it intentionally.My experience unfortunately didn’t turn out to be good but other reviews for this place are good so maybe worth going there specially if you have more experience with tattoos because clearly they’re very experienced.

Such an amazing experience with these guys. Down Liverpool for the weekend and these guys made getting tattooed so easy and comfortable. If I was a local this place would be my regular!

A wonderful experience from start to finish, Jay was so calming and professional, took 6.5 hours to cover up my old tattoo but it felt only like a couple of hours. Jay chatted all the way through putting me at my ease. My tattoo looks amazing and I can’t recommend him highly enough. Meg was also very comforting throughout telling me how good it was coming on. Will definitely be back for some more work. Congratulations guys on running such a professional and clean business. I will be be telling all my friends about you

Absolutely gorgeous cherry piece done by J. Forshaw! Done perfectly and just how I wanted it to look but even better with his touches. Felt so at ease and welcome by him & the other staff who work there and already can’t wait to go back! He tattoo’ed over self harm scars and had so much knowledge surrounding how to tattoo on/over them & had complete trust in him, thank you so so much!

2019 my partner got a medium sized lion tattooed on her upper arm. This piece was charged by the hour. The piece that could have been easily been completed within two hours (and two hours is definitely an over generous amount of time) as it was a pretty basic design, took much longer than this. Therefore she was majorly overcharged in price. This piece cost £300. I have never ever ever known a tattoo of this size and detail to cost that much. I myself have had a much more detailed bigger tattoo done by an experienced artist for £60. During her piece, the tattooist (who is also the owner) was talking, stopping tattooing to talk, talking with a friend in the shop ect. The guy was nice enough (and she loves the tattoo) but it was very clear that this was a classic tactic to drag out the length of time she was in the shop to overcharge her. Also the pupils on the tattoo are odd. Definitely better quality cheaper tattoo shops in the area that I've look into before coming here.

Fantastic experience from start to finish, walked in was seen right away. Jack is so knowledgeable, I thoroughly enjoyed chatting to him whilst he tattooed me and I absolutely love my tattoo - the artefacts around the premises are incredible!! Highly recommend and I’ll certainly return for any other work I want to have done.

Fine if you're looking for a very basic tat. They weren't very flexible on the design.I was running late to my appointment, so I called in advance to let them know. The receptionist said that was fine, but when I arrived I heard Pete (who's since retired) screaming his head off in the next room about my punctuality. When I sat down with him I apologised again & he was fine with it lol odd bloke.Regarding the tattoo, the surface is raised, meaning he scarred the skin. This is an experienced tattoo artist, so can't help but think this could've been some weird form of punishment for arriving late? Anyway we had a nice chat & he told me about how he used to live in Germany.P.S. I had to get my tattoo covered up. Wouldn't recommend.

Great experience! Jay is a meticulous in his preparation and execution. He filled the time with many stories but still kept checking in to ensure I was comfortable. I will definitely return for more work!
