Booked the skid pan experience for myself and my better half to give a bit more winter confidence on slicker roads.Superb afternoon - Scott was great and got us comfortable with what we where doing, really encouraging and we felt he wanted us to success and walk away with the knowledge we came for, but also a huge amount of fun in the process.All goals hit - great fun, learnt a lot but unfortunately I got beat in the time trial !Our thanks to Scott for the effort and time he put in helping us, appreciated.

Attended the 1 to 1 skid course, well worth the price for some road safety knowledge and learn how to correct a skid in both FWD & RWD. In-depth explanations and lots of practice time.I am 2 hours drive away from Drive-Tech, chose them mainly as they are one of the very few companies which do not use a hydraulic skid frame to generate the skid, instead they make the track slippery to create a much more realistic skid situation.

I can't speak highly enough of Dave. I had a special one to one session with him in preparation for a competition and it completely exceeded my expectations. Dave taught me the most important principles in an easily understandable way then allowed me the freedom to explore the grip and skids myself. It's not until he shows you how it's done do you really realise he's an absolute pro! He is also a great photographer and took some awesome photos. I'm still buzzing after it which is a testament to Dave's enthusiasm and teaching. Thank you again!

This was our second visit to the 4X4 course. The first one was really good fun, learning how to drive off road, plunging through muddy water and negotiating steep slopes, dips and troughs. This time we felt a little braver and with the help of Andy, our expert instructor, we had an absolutely brilliant time going around what can be a really challenging course. I would highly recommend a visit if you are a beginner or old hand . A thoroughly great day out.

Purchased and attended a 'One to One' Skid Control Course as part of the employers driver awareness requirements for working in the Nordics. I was a little anxious leading up to the date. But once started, the instructor quickly put you at ease, and within time the feel and experience of driving on the skid pan both in front and rear wheel drive vehicles started to fall into place thanks to the guidance and professionalism of the instructor. The course included some presentation on a white board to help understand what to expect, with a little on hand instruction 80% of the time you are behind the wheel experiencing first hand the control of the car (or...at first the lack of it). A great experience. Well worth the time and money. I would thoroughly recommend taking it. The lessons learnt could possibly save your life one day.

What a fantastic experience, Dave was brilliant, provided support, guidance and direction with great humour. There was a great level of his personal insight and explained the session at various stages for best learning and development. I would highly recommend here for a skid-pan experience!

Visited for a Grand Prix and had a great time. The staff were friendly and keen for us to get on with racing which was great.The circuit is good but can be tough to pass slower drivers within the 5 laps within the heats. All the karts were in good condition and good to drive. The helmets, gloves and overalls were all pretty standard so worth taking your own if you have them.If it's your first visit here make sure you take the Green gate and follow the track all the way up and go under the bridge to park. You then walk around to the right past the Skid Pan area up to the karting.

I had a very exciting morning on the skid pan, which was absolutely brilliant fun with engaging instructors who clearly love the work they do. Come, learn, practise your new skills and enjoy yoursel!

Despite lasting longer than anticipated (a pleasant surprise!), every minute was enriching.Enthusiastic and Knowledgeable Instructors:Despite the freezing temperatures, Dave and Scott's enthusiasm was contagious. Their upbeat demeanour and informative guidance covered skid control, ABS basics, and even a thrilling time trial. Their expertise and passion for teaching made the experience engaging and enlightening.Eye-Opening Learning Experience:The session wasn't just a joyride but a substantial lesson in proper car control. It offered valuable insights into handling different driving scenarios, making it not only enjoyable but also crucial in improving driving skills.Recommendation for All:Drive-Tech's skid pan course was incredible, and I highly recommend it, especially for those new to this type of experience. Despite a group of 12 participants, the session never felt overcrowded, allowing for personalized attention and a comfortable learning environment.In summary, my time at Drive-Tech Castle Combe for the skid pan session was phenomenal. The informative and engaging instruction, along with the hands-on learning, made it an unforgettable and worthwhile experience. I'm already planning to explore their other training sessions, thanks to this fantastic introduction. Highly recommended for both novices and experienced drivers alike!

Had a great experience on a corporate day with Drivetech. Plenty of time in the karts and some good competitive racing for all standards. Jayne was very helpful in the lead up to the day and was very accommodating with specific requests/questions. She was also very helpful with coordinating our day with other activities at the track to ensure an action-packed day for all. Thank you!
