National Tyres and Autocare - a Halfords company

Left 2 loose wheels there overnight to collect midday the next day. Just got another lift for the 20 minutes drive to get there and was told they can’t be done for another 2 hours. I need to drive home so had to take them back.

Booked one week in advance to get cv boot replaced after 3 days at garage and numerous excuses still not done so I took back van and they cancelled my booking thanks for nothing go elsewhere one star one to many

Took for mot and failed which is fine but everything on mot was wrong saying offside break hose was broke when it was near side front and that’s one example, so overall wasting time and money looking at wrong parts/buying wrong parts. I took to another qualified mechanic to check over and he agreed that the MOT was a nightmare wouldn’t go back not even for retest.

Friendly staff and a quick turnaround. Price was fair (ordered online for next day).This branch is apparently due a refurbishment soon as looks a bit shabby bot dint let that put you off (5 star after refurbishment easy).

To be quite frank the worst service I have even had from a garage not even worth 1 star.Sent my car in for 2x front tyres, wheel balance and and front wheel alignment.Received a phone call from the garage and the person started by saying my car had failed its MOT even though thats not what it went in for they said my car was ready to collect. I arrived to find my car key were thrown on the outside of the window screen in plan view from the passing public. I went in to confirm all the work had been completed.I then took my car and started to drive it home when I realised they had not completed the front tracking (with the steering wheel central the car was pulling massively to the left without any road camber). I went back to the garage and asked if they had completed and one of the mechanics stated wheel tracking could not be completed due to s safety notice.My response was tracking not completed but you are happy to take my money without even letting me know.Absolutely shocking will never ever use this garage again.

Not impressed with a quote for a simple job for my daughter's car quoted £400 for a job that was completed by another garage for £120. Would advise getting quotes from other places so you are sure you are not being overcharged.

Arranged to leave vehicle for work to be done, but when I went back, it hadn't been touched. It cost me two taxi fares of £23 and my vehicle still isn't fixed!

Booked in for 1130 said it would be ready at 2 then told another couple of hours.So iv wastes a whole day waiting for a oil and filter change .Paying top dollar too.Will not be using again
