The Pet Vet

We had to have emergency surgery on our precious cocker spaniel and both Linda and Anna saved her life. From the receptionist to the veterinary surgeon everyone played their part and showed genuine care and compassion for us all. Thank you everyone.

The pet vet Barnsley are by far the most attentive and kind staffing team. I’ve had poppy in recently, who had to have an overnight stay. I have never felt so reassured leaving poppy with anyone, I was updated frequently and reassured that she was been looked after. I had follow up calls and appointments afterwards and I can’t thank everyone enough. A special thanks goes to the lovely vet Ana, Head nurse Holly and customer support Julie.All the teams are amazing and I can’t think of anything to say negatively about them.Thanks to the great Pet Vet team in Barnsley

The reception staff were really helpful and efficient booking our appointments.Vet Ana was brilliant with our dog Monty who had a recent ear infection. She understood that we were more anxious than he was so she examined him away from us in the back room with a nurse to alleviate the anxiety. She explained his treatment clearly and told us the procedure step by step. I cannot recommend her enough, a really caring excellent vet.

They took good care of my fur baby Milo. He had 15 teeth removed but he was well looked after. Saw vet Barbara each visit and she was great. Thanks also to Will for his help with insurance forms.Many thanks to you all

Absolutely fantastic front desk staff, very friendly, kind and considerate. Would recommend the lovely vet Ana as a rabbit savvy and small pet vet. I wouldn't take my fluffy family to another vet in Barnsley.

Excellent service from the reception team, nurses and vets. One of our dogs had a serious operation at The Pet Vet which required months of visits and at every one we were fully informed, looked after and felt genuine care from the team

Absolutely excellent veterinary practice. Receptionists are so lovely and welcoming. The veterinary nurses are warm and kind and knowledgeable. The vets are just awesome. They are experts. They keep me informed about my pets health and recommend how to care for them, and they really care about pets and their owners. Cost of procedures and medication is good value for money. I thoroughly recommend them. I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

Went here for an emergency appointment when my cat came home injured. I was so impressed that I registered both my pets & will be using them routinely from now on. Jill, on the phone & reception, was amazing, such an efficient, kind & nurturing person, exactly what you need when you're worried about your pet. Louise, the vet, made me feel reassured that my 4 legged baby would get the best possible care, & he is already making an excellent recovery thanks to the treatment. His deep puncture wound has a scab & he's marching around the house screaming to go outside as if nothing happened yesterday.There was immediate & consistent transparency about services & prices but this was done sensitively & tactfully. The building is easy to find & has plenty of parking. Waiting area was large, comfortable & spotless with complimentary tea & coffee. Opening hours are really comprehensive & include evenings/weekends which is great for those of us who work long hours.I've had some terrible experiences with vets in & around Barnsley, & I always expect to leave feeling like I've been an inconvenience & never quite trusting that my pet will be ok. Not here - quite the opposite. Do yourself & your pet a favour & switch to these.
