Have been going here for some time, and received excellent care from all staff. This hospital is also the walk in monor injuries unit, so can get very busy there. Parking on site where you take a ticket and pay in hospital before leaving. This was cheaper than some of the nearby public car parks

Additional seating at coffee shop, Nursing staff very nice and helpful. The Treatment centre tends to get busy usually at least 2hr wait but you can ring and check also check if they can help with your injury as some cannot be treated here .

Not happy with walk in centre went in Tuesday as I was so unwell, I lost my hearing and felt like I had an infection as I was coughing up greeny yellow stuff and also through my nose, I was there for 4 hours and get told there was nothing wrong till I finally went to see my own doctor and told me I have a really bad infection and given antibiotics. Walk in centre needs to stop putting people lives at risk. Not happy

Visited today, queue looked long but if you take into account every patient has one or two people with them, then not so bad. Staff are A1 received excellent care and treatment. These people are angels..

Great hospital! Staff are friendly… easy access with plenty paid parking. Little construction going on at the moment.

After several years of mental health issues and extreme anxiety. As a carer for my stroke victim husband. I came for help with my own health issues that are many.(Arthritis in hip and spodylosis in spine. )Unfortunately had the displeasure of dealing with Mr David Higgs. While I appreciate my bmi is raised at 34, I am a light smoker and enjoy a few glasses of wine of an evening . I was advised that if I wanted help with my arthritis I am to lose more weight of which I have through stress and putting others needs before my own, .quit smoking and cut down on alcohol.I understand this is standard practice and would have been happy to comply but his lack of empathy to my cause was entirely generalised and lacked any care at all. Walked in the room post consultation with registrar to give his verdict, then left ,no hello or goodbye or anything else.Having been with the dept over many years on list of which i had to cancel treatment and put my husbands needs first weighing heavy on my mind. Actually left the dept in tears, feeling fat , useless and.made to feel like I was not worth the time. 4 years of appointments and hopes gone in 5 mins.Having worked for the trust myself I thought the attitude was disgusting and has now put my mental health in a worse state than it was before the consultation Hopefully this person never has to deal with the same situation, be interested to see how he would cope. See his fellow colleagues / consultants as they are so much more friendly and caring. Back to GP now for pain management referral.

Useless. Went there to figure out what was wrong with my toe whether it was broke bruised fractured ect, women cleary didn’t want to to help at all.Without looking at my foot at all, just said treat it like a broken toe and said what to do for a broken toe.I didn’t come in to be told what to do for a broken toe, I can find that on the internet. I come in to have my personal accident looked at and given an opinion on what they think is up with it, being that their job. I understand being busy and wanting to get through everyone but she just didn’t want to help me at all. Everything I was asking about my personal accident, she was referring back to it being broke. But didn’t tell me if it was broke or just bruised. Also was told for a broken toe, don’t splint it as it puts it in an unnatural position. So if my toe was bent just leave it. So the only bit of info she gave me was confusing anyway because everywhere I’ve even seen, you get told to buddy it up so it heals straight.

So my wife who is pregnant goes into the Royal South hants because she has sharp shooting pains and what appears to be an infection as well. We phoned 111… not a bean of help. We go to royal south hants and the assessment lady says loudly enough for my wife to hear to a doctor “are you going to see this one? She doesn’t look that bad.” He replies “oh come on it’s 9.30 and I finish in 30 mins.” He says no she says what do I tell her? He says make something up and send her home. If it’s that bad she’ll be back tomorrow! Rubbish and disgraceful.

Quite honestly the treatment I received by the orthopaedic department has changed my life, for the better. I was suffering badly with an arthritic hip joint for a long time.I was referred to RSH and underwent a hip replacement. I was assured by everyone that I would be without pain, and I was after two weeks friends neighbours remark how I am walking upright and a smile on my face.Thank you ALL I could not have received better treatment anywhere.PS To the young man who brought me the tea and toast the lady who made me scrambled eggs that could not have tasted better. Can absolutely recommend RSH
