South Coast eFoil

Had a great time today on the coast learning how to fly on a board while avoiding the heatwave in London. Such a great experience. Learned to surf in 7 days to ski in 3 this stuff can be learned from day 1. Thanks Rory for you patience, attention to detail and for suggesting that really good fish & chips place nearby!

This was my first time trying an eFOIL. It was a great opportunity to try this in calm controlled conditions before I take the plunge and attempt kite foiling. This session allowed me to have stacks of time riding the foil which should help make the transition to kite foil much easier. The instructor (Rory) is a top bloke who had a fantastic relaxed approach. His teaching was very progressive, starting on the beach before foiling laying down and then on my knees. He had me standing up foiling well within the allotted time of this lesson. He is also providing video footage of my first 'flight' at no extra cost. Rory was also happy to hang around after the lesson to advise me on the most appropriate kit for my needs. This is not cheap, but is amazing fun and such a unique experience. I think it has saved me many hours of heartache later down the line when I begin kite foiling. Wholeheartedly recommend this.

Superb day out with Instructor Rory - who got me flying very quickly! Excellent instruction and set up in a beautiful setting - the e-foiling itself was incredible!!! Will be back!!!

What a fantastic experience South Coast E-Foil!! Made all the more memorable by the superb organisation, top notch equipment and the larger than life and passionate instructor. I booked this as a birthday experience for my 11 year old son and we were looked after from the moment we arrived and the beaming smile on my sons face at the end of the experience said it all. Thank you Rory for looking after us and getting us to a level that really showed how awesome eFoiling can be. Your a legend!! And there is no better recommendation than saying we will be back.

First time I tried this, had an amazing lesson. Rory is a great instructor, no pressure, really relaxed and very encouraging. I'll be back!! Highly recommend this company if you're thinking of trying this sport.

Had an absolutely fantastic time learning to eFoil with South Coast eFoil. Rory is such a nice guy, was a great tutor with a genuine passion for the sport. Totally professional setup with headsets, safety gear and most importantly the best carbon fibre eFoils on the market which made it all the easier to get started. Can't recommend highly enough will definitely be booking another session soon.

My son and I booked with South Coast eFoil and from the first contact it was a great experience. Rory was enthusiastic, approachable and knowledgeable and made us feel very relaxed. We had a fantastic time, were well coached to the point we managed to fly the board, and would recommend these guys to anyone wanting to try out this amazing sport.

A friend and I went for our first foil lesson. Good instruction, very patient, good equipment. Both of us were standing and foiling within 3/4 hr. Then an hour of gliding around in the bay. All good learning. Not bad for two 62 year olds!! Would recommend a lesson if that’s what you fancy!

What an adventure! The grey sky and wind put me off initially but my instructor Alain reassured me all would be great and sure enough it was. The communication from Rory who runs the company during the booking process was first class. All kit is provided and in great condition, you even get wetsuit boots to walk across the shingle.The boards are top of the range and super easy to use, I’ve never been on one before and was standing within 30 mins. For the first 30 minutes I got used to the board both laying and kneeling which is just as fun. You get a helmet with a headset so you can receive advice from the instructor who follows you around in his boat so you can learn from any mistakes immediately. The area is great right next to the castle and lifeboat station, it’s a quiet area so plenty of space to fly around in. Once you’re in the air the feeling is sensational! All in all a super afternoon of fun that I’ll be booking again real soon!
