Luigi's Delicatessen

I have been coming here since 2019. It used to have decent customer service with good wholesome Italian food and produce. Unfortunately, I have encountered upon neglectful and slow customer service on two consecutive occasions this week alone. One of the staff was in the back scrolling through his phone despite seeing me wait, the other one I was waiting for prolonging conversation with other customers despite it being busy and having three people waiting. There is a time and place for everything but obviously that wasn’t taken into consideration. One of the worst passive ignorance I have ever encountered, completely ignoring my presence or what I’m saying and opting to speak to lady who was behind me and had been browsing around rather than waiting to be served. Would rather buy a plane ticket to puglia, get better service and food at a fraction of the price and fly back than experience this for third time.Never coming in again.

Very friendly staff. Patient and kind.There are various choices of salad and pasta. Tastes is amazing. They offer 3 sizes. I went for the small one which is £6 but it is very packed and fulfilling. Perfect for lunch!Will definitely come back again.

They’ve got me as a customer for life. What a deli! Excellent selection, and their lunch boxes (pick a size, large is £12) and they’ll pack it with your selection (no limits on how many different salads). Everything from farrow salad, vegetables, pastas, mozzarellas, roast chicken. Truly to die for. The staff, are of course, fantastic. Andrea has won me over so easily. They’re going to be sick of me in a week.

Guys were super helpful (although I went to ask about a few products and did not buy anything on this occasion).I will definitely come back as they almost have the entire top stuff from Italy in that shop and most importantly because they made me feel very welcome and to me customer services is very important if I go somewhere where they treat me as inconvenience, I will never come back(and I will tell my friends too and leave reviews) to the same place to spend money and be treated badly.

What a find! I went in to see what it's like. The shop was full of proper authentic Italian delicatessen. All looked so delicious! I bought a bottle of good red wine and some slices of fennel salami. We loved the wine and I would love to visit them again!

Great deli with authentic Italian produce and fresh foods. It is a small shop but had a wide selection and a bit of a treasure chest feel. Everything I have tried from the deli section has been delicious. The best thing is the tiramisu! It is a little pricey but quality.

I was looking for a panettone without success in a number of other shops. Phoned Luigi’s who reserved one for me. On collection, the shop gave me the panettone free as it was about to be out of date. So kind, thank you.

Little shop with so much variety of packed and fresh food. I got offered a slice of salami to taste and it was amazing so I bought some. The packed pasta selection is huge and the fresh cakes looked amazing. There are fresh veggies too.

It is a good place to find nice Italian products including a range a great wine options from the more affordable to the the little higher level ones.They also have a satisfied variety of cheeses considering they sell other products - not a cheese store only.What took 2 starts less from my review was actually the way that they present the fresh foods, exposed without any glass or layer to protect against anything that could sneeze to the area. I don’t believe this is a too hygienic procedure - even knowing this is a tradicional Italian thing.The staff is really nice and kind.

Lots of deli, ready made meals and desserts which most taste good. Staff are very nice and helpful. Nice to go there to buy nice food when need a quick fix.
