Had to book my dog in for a emergancy appointment got the owner of the shop alemu who gave my dog antibiotics that he should never of been on that caused him to vomit 6 times in less than 5 minutes so I had to take him to the emergancy vets were I was told the antibiotics shouldn't of been given and my dog had to stay and be on fluids for about 14hrs due to being badly dehydrated with a inflamed intestinal track due to vomiting. Because of him I'm about £2000 put of pocket if my insurnace doesn't pay out and for what I've heard it's not the first time. Alemu should stick to being a business owner and stay away for touching animals before he kills one. Every other person that works there is great but the clueless person need to change job.

I took my parrot here to get his break trimmed, never again!! To start with the vet had never dealt with birds and told me he would 'try his best'... not what you want to hear when he is dealing with your feathered baby. Anyway he done his beak but left the parrot in distress and me £60 out of pocket.

Called to try and book our three dogs in for their boosters. I paid for lifetime vaccination boosters a about 5 yesrs ago to be told very rudely that as we hadn't been for over 2 years (due to COVID) that we would need to pay for each fog again. They claimed that they had sent me an E mail to advise when they were back doing vaccinations. Never received one E mail from them. One of my dogs has terminal cancer so this will likely be the last time she will even need her boosters. Absolutely no empathy or kindness or understanding. Its all about the money for them. So will never return and would rather take my dogs to a vets that actually care about the care of my pets. Just awful treatment and the attitude of the receptionist was absolutely shocking.

Left after being a customer for 10 years. Too expensive now. Do your research. Found another local vet surgery who's consultation fee is £15 cheaper. Also their cost for a surgery my dog had was less than 1/3 of the price we were charged here at vets4pets!

Great experience, staff were absolutely professional and friendly

Absolutely horrendous vet. Claimed to work and know about ferrets and was told they had the jill jab (not all vets still have it in stock nowadays), when I got there I was told actually they don’t have it but now we’re gonna charge you £50 for a 10 minute chat about how we don’t have it but instead we’ll do surgery on your 5 year old ferret with adrenal disease or implant her for an insane price.Vet also claimed adrenal disease was this horrible untreatable thing, or at least implied it, which is cannot be further from the truth and it terrified meAt the time she was not diagnosed with adrenal but vet claimed there was absolutely no signs despite her balding, being extremely skinny despite how much she’s eating etc and when I changed vet they actually took us seriously and we got her implanted for a reasonable price and now she’s perfectly healthy. Shame on this vet, all they want is your money.

Went to linwood to get my wee pup a wee check over and wormed back tomorrow for last jags staff and vet very nice indeed can highly recommend.

Had a pretty uncomfortable experience with the staff the other day. I was running a couple of minutes late for my appointment, obviously I know this can be a bit of a bother but these things happen! As I approached the desk I said hi to the receptionists but they rolled they’re off eyes off me with no reply. After a minute of silence I was then told off for being late, I don’t mind someone explaining that I should phone to let them know I’m running a tad late but it’s the attitude that came with it and felt like I was being told off like a child. Im coming into the vet with a sick and injured pet so I’m already stressed out enough so it just wasn’t what was needed. As for the actual vet herself, I’ve seen her a few times with my cat and I don’t get a lot of information out of her, when I ask about basic things a vet should probably know she’s just shrugged her shoulders or just doesn’t have a clue. Think it’s time to move to a different vet unfortunately. Just lacking a lot of professionalism.

Staff are great always friendly try to be helpful, the vet also very good at their job, just don't appreciate being asked for a call bk on vets request, then a suprise that's £48 THANK U VERY MUCH , not an appointment a call bk VERY VERY FLY !!!! We are VIP not that that makes a difference.
