Have used BE for many years for both my children and grandchildren. Service was good, orders arrived on time, sizing was great. The last 2yrs have been a nightmare. I always order well before the deadline to ensure delivery for schools returning and never had an issue until this year and last year. When my order hadn't arrived I emailed and called numerous times getting told a different story each time I got through. Last year I eventually had to pick up my order from the shop instead of delivery. When I got it home the school t-shirts were 2 sizes to big despite ordering the same size as the year before. I still have them because they are unwearable and like a dress on my grandson. This year the exact same, the sizing is all to pot, both sets of t-shirts have medium labels yet are 2 sizes bigger than the original medium I have!!! Yet the size small jumpers are tiny and instead of fitting a 13yr old they would fit a 10yr old. My order just arrived 2 days ago so not got a lot of time and money to run about replacing all the useless items from BE before the schools go back in 3 days. To say i am disappointed is an under statement. Thank goodness I won't need to use them next year as all the grandchildren will be in high school and no embroidered primary school wear will be needed, and I can just buy shirts/blouses and black jumpers elsewhere outside rather than ordering from here! Reading the other reviews tells me I'm not alone, and that someone needs to look into the sizing of items and customer service/communications/deliveries etc before there are no customers left.

One of the companies I am glad to post a review off. The quality of sweaters is as it should be- they wash and look as new for years. BE sweaters, gingham dresses and cardigans seem indestructible. Very little clothing gets passed from my older daughter to the younger one due to wear as many companies produce almost single-use clothing tempting with cheap prices and nice design. BE is the best value for money. Even the jumpers which are around £22 and seem expensive. I prefer one of these than flimsy supermarket alternatives. The colour stays the same the garment doesn't loose shape.You need to order in advance, well in advance. In today's next-day-delivery society it is something that may put off. But I would rather wait. Sizing if also sometimes not that easy to understand. My 120cm 5 year old wears 66cm jumper and 7-8 years dress

I made an order in store (Falkirk) and when called to say my order was ready to collect they had ordered it to another store (Glasgow) so I now won’t have my items in time for my sons new school year!

Really poor. Quality has changed this year and it's left the clothes thin and quite clearly won't last as long as they usually do. Try elsewhere for school clothes and save your money

Purchased 3 hoodies before the cut off still no sign of them no updates no contact number just an email keep getting fobed off kids are back to school tomorrow still no hoodies.

I actually can’t think of much wrong with the hoodies I have bought for my son. The logo’s are stitched in very well and as I have bought two now I can say the logo or hoodie does not fade organs still looks good after a year (except for the fact a weenager is wearing it.The delivery was slow but you have to take into account the time you buy it and the fact they provide to lots of other schools too.Arrived in a good sealed package and no damage.The only problem is that my son keeps growing but as their prices are reasonable, I don’t mind.

Made my order on first of June & still don't have my daughters P7 hoodies and she's back to school on the 16th.I have received two incorrect orders so hopefully third time lucky.Other parents in the year group also having similar issues so definitely not an unlucky one off.Customer Service is terrible they actually replied to an email and blamed it on Gremlins in the system.

Shop didn't have the stuff in store for my child's school but it arrived in around 2 weeks and before start of term. Sizing is perfect.

I'm disappointment with the quality of the jumper. After only two weeks the fabric looks ratty, lint has to be removed -never happened with uniforms from ASDA. Two stars, because arrived on time.

Stay away fruther from this company we have read other reviews saying how bad it is but we also had first hand experience now. We in June 2020 i ordered a jumper sized L however made a mistake with the wrong colour i thought that was my fault ill just buy the correct one this time however once we bought it, it arrived wrong size it was most likely an XL and messaged them with email to ask to downsize they swapped it like i asked but at the end of june i recived said downsize however the sleeves where still gianormous and were 6cm larger than my other L jumper and my son looked like batman with the oversized jumper i contacted them again but they asked us to send measurments we sent them the measurements and show the difference in size to the correct one and then in the end AYNSLEY THORBURN Senior Sales coordinator said and i quote think its hard to compare the one you have to the old one as it will of washed in." even tho it was a brand new sweater i ordered litterally weeks jus before and now they are ignoring our messages and not refunding us or giving us the correct size jumper"
