The Tanning Shop

Have to say I’ve used a few of the shops in this chain. Most have been a bit grubby and chaotic. The guy here , Mike I think, is professional, friendly and keeps the place spotless and well organised.

The most ridiculous service! I have been there to get a tan and was told to register on their website first. I tried twice to do so but it did not work due to a website issue.Then I was sent away without a tan at all because they would not let me tan without registration.C‘mon seriously? Instead of losing a customer why not write the details down and enter them later or at least try to be a bit more helpful?!Absolutely disappointing!

That’s a very good place to get a good tan.Staff is efficient and friendly .Special mension to Luisa-very helpful:)But whole team does a great job !

There were some bad reviews so I was a bit worried.The staff was nice.The shop was clean.As I read in another comment, it is very annoying give a lot of personal information for a tan package. It was not possible read about policy privacy …Anyway, I’ll recommend it.

Very rude.Staff have no manners. They never have any walk in appointments.Website is useless.

Great staff and choice of beds/courses. The friendly girls will always advise on how many minutes you should use based on the time since your last visit, the newness of the tubes, as well as how busy the beds have been that particular day. As a result I have never burned as I have in previous establishments. Can get very hot and busy at peak times but that is unavoidable, especially in the summer months.

DO NOT USE BED 9 (Stand up). Warning to those who cannot deal with the heat.No method for New Customers to sign up in-store. The front desk cannot and the iPad doesn’t work. You need to sign a disclaimer to use 7 minutes+ for which you can only use up to 14 minutes maximum. However I will be returning as very friendly staff and a great tan after 1 session

Avoid. Incredible rude staff who are overly officious, rude & arrogant. Hard to be all 3, but they manage it. Totally unable to deal with walk-ins even though they are prepared to sign waivers. Need to get over themselves, quickly. Go elsewhere where customers are appreciated and not treated like 2nd class citizens.

Unfortunately, if I could give less then 1 star, I definitely would as per my horrific several experiences caused by one of your employees in that particular shop (India).I use Tanning Shops for over 10 years, tanned in at least 5 different ones/ numerous locations (Hammersmith, Putney, Oxford Circus, Clapham Common, Basingstoke etc.).I have never placed a single complaint for any of your shops and used your services for years as a loyal and happy customer. But today, this time, I feel obligated to do so as I found your employee mentioned by the name above racist, rude, moody, ignorant, extremely unpleasant to talk to, lazy... you name it... I could write a book what I went through with her...She should never work with people or around people, as does not have any manners or people skills and is not the type of person who should work in any sort of hospitality business.Unfortunately, I had a pleasure" to be served by her several times and my tanning experience was just getting worse and worse. I placed a verbal gentle suggestion/complaint few weeks ago to the holding/leaving Store Manager and nothing happened.Actually it became even worse and yesterday evening between 6.35pm and 7pm
