Oxford's long time No 1 cocktail bar. Very popular, great service. You won't always get a table but the drinks are a great distraction

Really annoyed me. Stood at the end of the bar because the rest of the bar was full. Guy making cocktails was very slow. Made the mistake of not moving towards the centre of the bar as people took their drinks, why would you? Guy served 2 sets of people who walked straight up to the centre of the bar and totally ignored me. He only served me when I called out Excuse me. Am I invisible? I was ahead of these people and the last people you served." No apology. A guy behind me said exactly the same had happened to him. Mediocre cocktails

If accidentally you can not drink alcohol today like me, bloody shame is a good choice! Choose customize whatever spicy level you want, and it will make it! Spicy and fresh, love it! Staff there super friendly also!

Lovely pub, lovely crowd and drinks on menu. It's an above average pub, typical British pub with decent drinks of the offer at regular prices.come here for cocktails not regular lagers

Lovely way to start Christmas eve. A couple of cocktails before our restaurant booking. Reserved a table no problem. Good cocktail menu, plenty of staff. Even pre warned when happy hour was about to finish.

Imagine silky smooth nectar pouring down from the stratosphere like felix baumgartner with an aborted parachute directly into your gullet. The cocktail quality raises the intensity.Visited pre-Covid: alone, sitting, in a booth, spread out, and got absolutely thrashed like a lapsed AA member. The experience was sublime. Before you judge, try it yourself.Needless to say, the vid horrors have not wrecked the foundations and the cocktails are still solid as the Rock’s biceps.Never seen so much care and attention to detail around a happy hour drink. I may be used to London prices, but if this was near me I’d be a casual alcoholic.

Amazing! We rented the bar out of a private event and it was brilliant. Service was great from booking all the way to excellent bar service on the night. DJ was great and played our type of music. Great drink selection. Everyone had positive things to say about the venue and the staff. Thanks for making our night special.

really nice place to have a drink or two, or three, or four, or well you know what i mean.staff was extremely helpful and helped us to choose a good drink and sorted me out with some great seats. would definitely visit The Duke again when i come to this city

Great cocktail bar with a very attractive manager ;) also a brilliant service from a young man who as it turns out is also training to be a pilot! Cocktails are top notch, and customer service in general is great. Would recommend to any age group, some people in there were 20, some were 60, all seemed to be enjoying themselves.
