I learned to fly here and I would completely recommend it. Learning at a larger airport was fantastic and I'm very glad I did that over learning at a smaller airfield without proper ATC

It may of bin great when the other people went but I found the place to be dirty outdated and the planes looked a bit beat up. I sat for an hour as the pilot that was ment to take me up was still out flying showing little grasp of organisation. I'd try somewhere else

Was part of the club aged 15-16, Indy Singh was my teacher at the time offering little to no help. Seeing me as more of a nuisance then a young student. Receptionist was patronising when I suggested after 8 hours training I still wasn't ready to fly. They may have improved now but definitely just wanted money and not interested in actual teaching.

Best Cessna152 I have ever seen. Every instructor I have had from here I would happyly have for my PPL.Highly recommend this flying school better then all others in Derbyshire area.

I love this flying school, the only one in the area which uses a real airport runaway.. The personnel is very friendly and inspiring, airplane always in wonderful conditions!

Had a great trial flight in a Cessna 152. They might be basic, but are easy to handle and forgiving. It was a much better experience going from a proper airport, even had to wait for a Ryanair 737 to land up close before we could go. I had a hour flight and had loads of hands on, even flew the approach down to 400 feet, with a bit of help. My instructor, Tim, was really good giving me more to try as I improved, plus took over when I wanted to take photos. I'd happily recommend Donair for this sort of flight experience.
