Before my exams i came to a-star it has honestly been the best tuition i have ever accustomed, i have been to a lot of tuition centres including kip mcgrath and have not received the same service as i have at a-star, all the subjects i needed help in, have now become my strengths. Thank you very much a-star team, i highly recommend all parents to send their kids if you want them to get amazing grades.

I have been a part of A Star Tutoring since a few months. My overall experience working with the company has been great. A Star Tutoring encompasses a positive work environment and many opportunities to grow professionally.

My two children go to ‘A star’ and since they started their academic level is significantly improved. The tutors have long experience and can assist each child based on the difficulties they are facing. Abdul, the manager of the center, has great understanding of the learning process and in customizing the learning plan based on each child needs. He is also very positive to any feedback or suggestions given to enhance the outcome from each session. I also appreciate the regular feedback/assessment for my children to monitor their progress and direct the learning plan.

Great for parents, awful for employees. The boss is completely unreliable and only contacts you when he wants something from you. I've never had a boss who asks you to send your own payslip in and routinely forgets which hours you're scheduled to work.The wage is £10 per hour (despite the £15+ suggested on Indeed) and it's a zero-hours contract which tells you everything you need to know with regards to working hours. Only come here if you want to work minimal hours for minimal pay; after five months of working here I'm now poorer than I was when I started.Don't waste your time like I did.

HR/Management poor, recruitment process is poor, been here a while and the students and teachers are really nice, however its not 3 stage hiring process and you will have to give at least 2 free demos, interview and shadowing. Then you will not know the outcome...Sometimes disorganized and lack or preparation

I have been extremely happy in my role as an English tutor for A Star Tuition for the past six months. I find that it is a supportive environment for both staff and students. It is a friendly environment in which students are motivated to learn and thrive as a result. A Star sets a high standard for achievable outcomes.
