Just built a new house, so have used Stewart's for Solar Install, electrical installation, including building regs sign off, followed by appliance purchase.I cannot fault them. The solar install was performed very efficiently. Electrical install and testing was again very efficient. Finally I purchased all my appliances, they were well informed and with prices pretty much matching online, I get the best of both worlds, national pricing with local backup.

Very impressive. The staff, both office and electrical, were polite and efficient. I asked for an got a next day service. Peter, the electrician, turned up at 8:05am and went through the house professionally and logically until the fault was found. I would definitely use this company again.

Called to request washing machine repair over a week ago - nothing from them, no updates. Even when I cancelled the call they didn't appear to care. If you are in need - i would try somewhere else, or do what we did and just buy a new one from other company. Not a great experience dealing with this place sadly. Couldn't recommend at all.

Huge thank you to James Stewart's. My fridge freezer broke down late last night, I telephoned this morning for any information that may have been left on the answering machine during this lock down period and was surprised and delighted to hear that Stewart's were still carrying out repairs and deliveries. I duly left a message and Damien rang me back we had a look online and I decided on a new suitable fridge freezer and it was delivered within the hour excellent professional service from a local dealer can't thank them enough.

Our 16 year old dishwasher finally gave up...James Stewarts engineers had kept it going long past its lifetime..but this time the parts were obsolete...A quick trip to Kelso and a chat with the staff and a deal was done on a replacement including fitting and disposal of the old oneDeal done on Tuesday..fittedOn Friday...excellent work..excellent staffThank you

Shout out to James Stewart & Son. I needed a new oven and needed it for tomorrow at latest. I was about to buy on amazon to guarantee delivery but thought I‘d keep it local. The oven was delivered to Greenlaw within 2 hours and it was cheaper than Amazon.
