The best Indian I’ve ever tasted, I don’t live local but was visiting family and it was our first time after hearing great reviews. The food was incredible! The meat was so tender and melted in the mouth. I live an hour away but will be travelling back just for the curry alone.

We had option 3 from early bird menu for about £11. The poppadom and the sauces were really good. I love the spicy sweet red sauce and the refreshing pickled lime. As the starter, I had mixed kebab, which was great. The onion bhaji was really great and crispy. The main meal was curry, I love the saag. The perfect combination of spicy sweet sour curry. As the dessert we had sliced orange and tea/coffee. Finished off with a little mint chocolate after the bill. The service was dependent on the waitress. One of them was very nice and knows what to do. He made a really nice lime juice and took great group picture for us. However our main waitress was unfortunately not as friendly as the other one. He seemed in hurry all the time and ignore our request.Overall it was a great experience, we were welcomed with a long table with balloons for the birthday celebration.

We visited this restaurant whilst in holiday in June and we can highly recommend a visit. Every dish we ordered tasted amazing. I enjoy my curries on the hot side so I ordered a vindaloo. Many places sacrifice taste for heat with vindaloo but not here, it was perfect. I also ordered the lamb chop starter which was delicious too. My husband ordered a vegetarian curry which was also of a high standard. The staff were professional and friendly and were obviously passionate about the dishes they were serving. We will definitely be back when we visit this area again.

Where is the spice?Date of visiting Tuesday 23rd Aug 2022 at 8.20pmAs staying around Blackpool on a short stay with the family (2 adults and 2 kids, we came across imli restaurant while looking for a halal place to eat in the evening online and selected this restaurant after reading the positive reviews. The restaurant is based is St.Annes-On-Sea, an area around 10 minutes drive away from Blackpool promenade, this area looks and feels more upmarket to Blackpool promenade restaurants, and parking is easy and free near the restaurant.Got there around 8.20pm and it seemed fairly busy with diners, we were greeted when entering and asked to sit in the entrance/lounge area seating, until a table was ready for us.Table was ready within a few minutes and we sat down browsing the menu provided, preparing what we wanted to order, so we called the waiter to inform him we were ready and placed our order consisting of the below ~2 x Popadoms1 x Chutney TrayTandoori MixLamb HandiChicken Shahi (Medium)Tarka DalSaag AlooPlain Rice1 x Nan2 x Tandoori Roti1 X Plain ParataBill total around £65Pros~Front of restaurant clean and tidyNice decorService was efficient but lacking the friendly touch as our server did not smile once or create any conversation with us.Food presentationCard PaymentCons~Too long a wait to take our order after their first approach with drinks. They charge for chutney tray, never experienced this in any Indian restaurant that we have tried and eaten in, we have eaten in over 40 plus restaurants and never been charged for sauces/chutneys.Food very bland lacking flavour and spice, how can all the curry dishes taste the same?.Dead flies floating in their water feature not a great appearance.Closes at 9.30pmWould we return again?Unfortunately no, as we were hoping for a taste explosion experience based on the reviews and sadly left disappointed.

By far the best meal we had whilst on holiday in Lytham St. Anne’s!We ordered a chicken tikka masala and a vegetable bhuna with some garlic and mushroom rices. The chicken was perfectly cooked, tender and soft. The sauce was sweet and creamy. The rice was rich and full of flavour. The vegetable bhuna had a touch of spice and you could really taste the tomato. We ordered Diet Coke and lemonade. Overall paid less than £20 each. The staff were really friendly and took us in at around 7pm on a Tuesday evening without a reservation. Very impressed!Too full to order a dessert but saw several being brought out (one of which contained ice cream with various chocolate sauces draped over it.) my only regret is that we didn’t have time to go back and order one later in the week!Spotted some chocolate squares which I figured would be the end of meal snack, but instead we were offered free tequila shots!Very reasonable price for the quality of the food. Will definitely be going back on our next visit!

We make the 40 mile trip to St Annes on a Sunday night at least twice a year and always make a point of eating here, taking advantage of the Sunday special menu. The choice, quality, service and value are hard to beat in my opinion. My friend and I had chicken Madras which was just hot enough without being uncomfortable. Our wives both had chicken with a milder sauce as recommended ( see below ).The staff are very polite and efficient. The head waiter, AJ, was new to us but is a fantastic addition to the staff. He was very knowledgeable about the food and was full of recommendations which is a must for people who aren't that familiar with curries. He also made, according to my wife and our two friends, the best Tia Maria coffee they had ever tasted. The owner also came over for a chat and we were discussing the Christmas day menu. Very tempting!
