Wickes is my preferred DIY store. Prices are reasonable, quality is up there with the best, availability is not an issue either. The Oldham store is convenient, never too busy and the staff are helpful too. Parking is good and opening times are long. Offers are really good here.

Can’t fault the sales process but when order doesn’t turn up promises of call backs never happen and customer service team are appalling to deal with. I really hope they manage to trace my order and Wickes take the feedback provided and deal with issues customers have with their chosen delivery company. If the after sales care was as good as the sales process I would have given 5 stars.I await the call from the store manager on Monday hopefully with news of when I will get my order.

Our visit today wasn't a great advertisement for a buildings materials store as it advertises itself. The car park is full of potholes which could easily damage your car, ironically they have their storage area next to the car park where you can see bags of tarmac for sale! Even though it was a bad start, we decided to look at the new kitchens we had driven there to see. It didn't get any better; LED strip lights were hanging from the displays, counter top examples were missing. It just felt like they don't care so we went somewhere that does.

I bought 4 oak doors from this store when I put danish oil on them one of the doors turn black in colour, this was a clear oil, the other 3 doors where fine, I contacted the store and was fobbed off, they said they would get someone to contact me it's been a month now and I'm still waiting.I spend over £400 with them, what a waste of time this company is, I can assure you I won't be using them again.

This was the first time of visiting this branch.Well laid out store .Friendly helpful staff who had time to assist me in locating the items that I required.Items not available on shelves were quickly obtained from on site storage .Superb all round customer service and experience.Staff are a credit to Wickes.

Fantastic experience at the kitchen showroom - a lovely staff member called Dot was super helpful, she really went the extra mile to help us find our bearings and didn't pressure us to make any swift decisions, but spent tonnes of time showing us options and giving us a fantastic experience.
