E-Venture Bikes Lake District

If you’re looking for a top of the range e bike to rent for the day, this isn’t the place. Me and my partner both rented an e-mountain bike each. We’re not the type to have high expectations for a four hour bike ride but when the gears would keep clunking on and off from each other independently and the chain would be constantly coming off it did bring a major downer to our ride. Also the power on these things are very minimal so expect to be pushing them up the occasional hill. Other than that the customer service was pretty standard and the guy seemed to know of all the problems even though he was happy for us to take them out for the day which was a bit odd.

The bikes were in great condition and the customer service was top-notch. We received clear instructions and even some feedback on the route we had chosen in advance.The team showed great flexibility with regards to our reservation and were really friendly and helpful throughout.

Really great experience hiring from here. Booked in the shop the day before and was easy to do. We only booked a half day at first, but once we were out on the bikes in the sunshine we phoned up and asked to extend our booking. Was very happy that the shop were able to accommodate this, my partner and I had a brilliant day out on the e-mtbs!We got shown where to access the GPS routes on Komoot and got some advice on the trails around Latrigg too. We aren't familiar with Keswick so we really appreciated the local knowledge.Bikes were in great condition and fun to ride, and we got shown how to use everything safely. All for a very affordable price too (and cheaper than others nearby). Overall brilliant customer service and a very memorable experience from our holiday. Will definitely be booking again if we are back in Keswick!

This was a fantastic day. Well priced, well prepared bikes, friendly knowledgeable staff and a stunning location. If you have never tried e-bikes before go for it. It is So Much Fun. We covered 13 miles of hilly terrain without breaking a sweat. Highly recommend.

We hired full suspension electric bikes and my wife and I road a route down the old railway track from Keswick and over Skiddaw - all recommended by E-Venture. We had a fantastic time, the service, the bikes and the views were superb! Highly recommended.

Hired a Ribble e road bike for half a day. Best £50 I’ve spent this year. Round Derwentwater Water, up to Seathwaite, then steady climb up to Watendlath. Great afternoon.

Keswick e-bike hire was marvellous with keen prices. The touring e-bike frames ranged from very small to suit someone 5 feet tall. The battery assistance gave us a very pleasant experience with the local hills, and increased our cycling range greatly.

Second time I have hired ebikes from E-Venture, both great experiences. Their road bikes and their mountain bikes are top notch and the service has been fantastic. Would definitely recommend them.

Great place to hire bikes from. The electric bikes are brilliant and new this year. They’re great to take up the bike park that is a few miles away. We hired them for a half day and had loads of charge left at the end. It’s reasonably priced and you get a helmet and stuff included.
