Cawood Park

What a friendly bunch !!We went to Cawood Park as it was the only place in the area that provided Sky television to watch the football. The bar staff were excellent, drinks reasonably priced and there was a darts board and snooker table too. Thick cut chips were excellent and they even served fruit teas. A fabulous afternoon had by us all (4 adults, 3 teenagers) especially as my husband's team won!

Had weekend stay enjoyed breakfast and evening meals very obliging staff and service site very tidy as we're amenities definitely booked in again Dec

Well if I could give 0 stars I would. The pool here has lots of broken tiles. As a result my child and another child were cut. We told the Owner Kevin who basically said it was tough. If you don’t like it go elsewhere! Avoid at all costs!!!

Had 8 nights here. Plenty for the kids to do.swimming. 2 parks and fishing. Nice village to walk round although it's only small.10 minutes ride to selby for your essentials. Would definitely be returning at some point

My family and i loved it at cawood park, it is perfect for us, with our tourer parked at the side of the childrens play park for our children and a fishing lake for my partner aswell as the restiarant and bar for us all there was something for everyone. The kids loved the disco and we loved games night including bingooooo, pub quiz and play your cards right totally made our weekend. We had a great time thoroughly enjoyed by all.We ate in the restaurant expecting pub grub and it was served and tasted like a gourmet restaurant fine dining, it was absolutely beautifull, the black pudding starter is to die for.We cant wait to come back xx

We stayed in lodge No.1... what a place , it was of a very high standard ,and a lovely view too.. We would like to thank Victoria, Mark and Angie for all their help in what was a very complicated first night, it all got sorted out. The site itself is lovely and clean, as the bar / cafe was only open the weekend we only used it a couple of times ( for food ) and it was delicious.Special praise must go to the cleaner of the lodge, it was spotless, and I mean spotless, it was just like walking into a brand new place for the very first time.The location was out of the way , which wasn't helped by the flooding around the area and the swing bridge was closed making the trip into York much longer, ( but that's obviously NOT the sites fault)..A HUGE thank you must go to the owner Kevin, for what he did for us, he didn't have to help us out, but he did, as he went that extra mile.. 5* ... Once again thank you all very much for everything..
