If I could give 10 stars I would. There aren't enough words to describe the difference in quality of product, many of which have cheaper dupes online. If it is in your budget I can vouch they look and feel 100x better than anything similar with a beautiful depth to the metals and the glass quality nothing like the mass manufactured type available.We recently renovated and tried several well known, commercial quality lighting companies such as Astro and Rockett St George. Whilst there was nothing wrong, the quality and service from Jim Lawrence was just outstanding. From an initial online chat where I sent across images of my home and receiving thoughtful guidance through to aftercare, it's been a perfect journey.I cannot recommend this brand enough, and am slowly finding reasons to replace all other lights in our home.

Reading recent reviews I felt I had to jump in and give some balance. We’ve recently installed ten beautiful antique brass lights (8 wall and 2 pendant) and are so happy with both the customer service and the look, feel and quality of the items. They are taking on a beautiful colour as they age and oxidise and we couldn’t be happier.We needed some help with matching designs/finishes and also customer made lengths and other parts - all without trouble. We will definitely be using this company for our continued project.

The customer service of Jim Lawrence is second to non. I had a small green fleck on one of my beautiful lights and they very quickly got a replacement out to me and picked up the damaged light through a courier. The replacement light unfortunately arrived at the wrong address however even though it was the fault of the delivery company they still offered me free delivery on my next order due to the faff of everything. Sometimes I feel like amazing customer service is hard to find in the uk these days, but the lovely Staff at Jim Lawrence proved to me that it’s still there with certain amazing companies

Great product, nice, sturdy and hard wearing, looks very stylish in our home. Unfortunately the customer service is extremely poor. We were delivered half our order, the replacement had a crack so had to be send out another parcel! We send back a product and it took nearly 2 weeks to get my refund. Staff apologised but not prepared to do anything else. 3 deliveries and 1 return, Jim Lawrence didn’t seem too fussed about Inconveniencing us. I’m afraid I won’t be buying with you again, you can get better service elsewhere.

The coldest shopping experience of my life. Never have I EVER been made to feel so small by the arrogant and cold assistant. I have purchased multiple items from Jim Lawrence. My mother purchased a light a while ago which she gifted to me when she downsized for which I needed the screws in the matching colour. The assistant simply couldn’t accept this as it wasn’t on “the system”. Multiple challenges for my mothers postcode “are you sure you have it right”. ‘Yes I’m sure I have it right, could you supply me with 2 screws?’ ….”Well we would normally issue them to the holder of the account for that item”. Seriously? It’s 2 screws. For a light? Your light! I don’t want to adopt a child or ask for your approval on a mortgage I would like 2 screws please. I was handed a small brown envelope…which I felt guilty for ever asking for. I would have paid but there was no monetary charge….just a feeling of self remorse. I left, drove home to open the sacred envelope with two stainless steel screws which failed to match the lights ceiling rose on any level. The scene from Pretty Woman comes to mind. I never want to go back to the store so unfortunately will never get my “you work on commission right?” moment.

Excellent and prompt customer service and beautiful products. Contacted them about a broken piece of glass and replacement ordered, shipped and arrived in 3 days. Nice to know there are still some businesses offering such a good service out there. Thank you.

Great companyWe have quite a number of lights from Jim Lawrence most of them in antiqued brass. The latest order is an outdoor light “ Ships Light” using a 4 W E27 LED bulb.It really lightens up our houseWim and Anke Traag, Erichem, The Netherlands

Excellent selection of light and door fittings. Easy to park, and you can look at lights, etc, without being pounced on by a salesperson

I used the chat function to ask a question about a product and the team promptly replied, asked me to send an email and they answered that promptly as well and sent the part I was looking for. Such a great customer service and the products are very elegant and durable. We will always visit their site for handles, stays, lights and much more.
