WETHERALDS CONSERVATORY ROOFS

We needed someone to replace our failing polycarbonate conservatory roof with an insulated, lightweight tiled solution.After being let down by a few ‘tradesmen’ we called Wetheralds. Paul was very prompt in arranging a survey and quote and was super helpful all the way through the process, answering all our questions and listening to any concerns we had.When it came to the work being carried out the lads who were on site were absolutely fantastic and a credit to the company. They are highly skilled and worked meticulously, keeping us in the loop at all stages of the job. When they finished on site they made sure everything was spotless.We now have a room that we can use all year round that looks and feels great and from the outside our conservatory now looks like a brand new extension. We love it!.

We are extremely pleased with our new Garden Room, it looks and feels really good and has been usable in the recent very cold weather which the conservatory never was. The whole experience was fantastic starting with the logistics of materials arriving when needed and an excellent team, Sean and Mark, on site who worked tirelessly to ensure all the work was delivered on time. We had an old plastic roof lean to.Spent an age researching and found these guys.What they have printed on their vans is exactly what you get. The quietness when it rains, the warmth when it’s cold and being able to use the space when it’s sunny.The Team are courteous and diligent. The quality is 2nd to none. Biased? I am now. I have a gorgeous new conservatory with bifold doors.

Removal of old conservatory and replacement with new conservatory with solid roof.in 3 1/2 days. Excellent team worked with minimum noise and disruption. Old structure gone in the morning, new structure in place and watertight by close of play the first day! Each member of the team did a good days work. Site remained busy but tidy" throughout. Old materials removed quickly. Took plenty of photographs during construction as the new building took shape. An education! Nice people

We have had a glass roofed conservatory for 10 years but have hardly been able to use it as we are south facing and in the winter it has been freezing and in the summer it has regularly been over 100 degrees. We engaged Weatheralls to replace the glass roof with a custom solid one. The job took a week, the guys worked hard and clearly knew what they were doing. The final result is fantastic. The insulation that is in the roof now has made a huge difference and even during this cold spell the room is staying warm and usable. Can’t speak highly enough of this company, we are very satisfied.

We had a new solid tiled roof put onto our large conservatory, cutting into the existing bungalow roof, and we are so pleased with the result, this got rid of a nasty leaking box gutter and has improved the conservatory immensely. The lads that carried out the work were lovely, professional and so hard working, nothing was too much trouble for them. My conservatory roof replacement was completed today and we love it already. The experience throughout was superb. Paul measured up initially and gave us a price. He also explained about the fabrication of our new roof in detail and took us through the entire process from start to finish. Andy and John turned up this Monday and started the job which was completed by the Wednesday. Their workmanship was excellent along with a super work ethic to not just get the job done, but to get it done right. Our conservatory looks great inside and it's not even decorated yet. The new roof pretty much matches our house roof exactly and the new black guttering and downpipe look great. Super product and great employees. 10/10 Weatheralds. Looking forward to using our new room all year round. Well pleased.Two years on and still 100% pleased with our new roof. Used pretty much every day and not one issue since installation.

I wanted to congratulate Wetheralds on being such an excellent team .From the very first contact via web chat I was impressed by how they immediately replied and fixed up an appointment with a surveyor to visit my home .This site visit was absolutely brilliant. Friendly and professional with a reassuring discussion of building matters ,techniques, how to make adaptations, technical details and design and most importantly advice on choice of product best suited to our large conservatory. Communication emails were again prompt as was his discussion with structural engineering matters.The construction guys, were delightful , so polite and very hard working from the moment they arrived. They clearly demonstrated excellent carpentry and joinery skills .Nothing was too much trouble and again they kept us in the loop with some on site discussion about detailing etc. I had been particularly concerned about potential issues with a back gulley and our rain water and soil pipes that passed through the roof.I needn’t have worried because they had all the building ,roofing and lead working skills and specialist fittings to deal with the situation and make big improvements on our previous construction by Amdega.The logistics and provision of materials , ordering and collecting of scaffolding and a skip all worked seamlessly and like clockwork, but as anyone in business knows these things just don’t happen they need careful planning so thanks to their logistics department.Lastly I must say how delighted I am with the construction and insulation materials used and particularly the roof tile chosen .The workmanship has been first rate and the finished job has enhanced the use of this large conservatory living space ,it no longer leaks, it is cooler in summer and with all the internal insulation will be warmer in the winter, saving my fuel bills!The works have certainly added value to my property and we are obviously very thankful that we chose Wetheralds to complete these works ,especially as they are professionally recognised in organising a Building Regulations Approval Certification which we will require when we sell our home.We owe our grateful thanks to all in the team and give congratulations for engaging such good staff and running an excellent company .Kind regards,Graham Harris

Work on the roof was scheduled before the lockdown with an internal door being fitted first. As soon as it was safe to do so, the team arrived to do the job in the reverse sequence, but it was not their fault.The conservatory is quite large and has many different angles, but that was not a problem for the two-man team. Everything was completed within the time allocated and, to my untrained eye, to a high standard.This is the second roof installation done for us by Wetheralds and both have worked out very well. We have yet to see how the winter months are in the new house but, if the old house is a guide, it should prove to be a good room to use in comfort all year round.

We contacted companies with the thought of just replacing our old tired polycarbonate roof possibly with glass, having no idea that having an insulated roof system was even an option. Thank goodness for Wetheralds, for now we have a wonderful new room, fully functional 365 days a year. The whole process from start to finish was flawless, an excellent product, quality materials and superb workmanship. Danny and Rob worked tirelessly and the quality of their workmanship was superb, even in Arctic conditions including heavy snowfall. 5/5 indeed and couldn't be more highly recommended. Thank you.
