Bath Spa University

It looks alright and I don't doubt its probably a decent place, but it's way too far outside of Bath to be reasonable for the average student.

As a campus, it's one of the best you'll find. It's large considering the number of students BSU has as well as being absolutely beautiful, with nature at every turn. Walks are always magical and campus is very convenient, being not so large that the SU is impossibly far from Lakeside; but not so small that you can't go on a leisurely walk. Staff and students are also nothing but polite and respectful.

Amazing uni. Great lectures and lessons are fun.Buses can be problematic though as it gets full quickly and skip on many stops.

Very disappointed with the teaching approach at London campus. Very poor teaching service and support for students. Tutors who barely speak English, while the grades are given based on how good the relationship with the tutors is, not based on your performance.I had an argument with one of the lecturers and I'm pretty sure that affected my grades. Just because we are migrant students this does not mean we deserve lower quality services.I'm very disappointed with the teaching approach at London campus and the way Bath Spa University is handling the complaints, does not reflect the values and ethics stated on their website.Please reaserch properly before you choose your university. Bath Spa University was not the best choice for me.

Bath Spa University is stunning! I would argue there is no where like it in the UK. The aesthetics and grounds are not the only positives, the lecturers, staff students make it outstanding. I am beginning my studies there in September 2020 and I did a lot of research into my chosen universities. No matter how I look at it, I could not see myself anywhere but here. A dream come true.

First off, don't trust the reviews here - they most definitely have bots posting fake, blank 5-stars and any legitimate reviews consist of people commenting purely on the aesthetics of the university, check them yourself - you can even find the lecturers at the university themselves posting 5-stars, be cautious.For most of my life, I had dreamed of going to University, being accepted by Bath Spa was that dream come true.If you told me a year later that as a result of attending this university, my entire perspective on higher education, as well as my faith in the system as a whole would be irreparably crushed into a fine dust, I would probably hit you with a nervous laughter and a It couldn't have been that bad

I graduated from Bath Spa university in 2011 with a degree in tourism management and I couldn’t think of a more perfect place to study tourism than the stunning city of Bath. I came here to study purely because this university felt right for me. Right from the moment we drove up the driveway on the open day to have a look around, the campus it made me go wow because it was so stunning but also the teaching staff were really knowledgeable and kind. Bath is a small city so if like me your not from a city and you don’t like big places in case you get lost etc the Bath is certainly for you. It’s a friendly city but it also has a good nightlife and student vibe. I really enjoyed my 3 years here - in fact now in my 30s I’d give anything to go back and do it all over again. The friends I made the fun I had on nights out and memories that will last a lifetime. The only thing I would say is don’t live in halls on campus year one be brave and live in the halls away from campus- you will gain so much experience from travelling to and from university and meet other people from different courses even on the bus that will become possibly lifetime friends. For me bath spa was a huge adventure a leap into the unknown- I wasn’t supposed to get to university I’m dyslexic and autistic but I did and I graduated with a degree to be proud of. My dissertation is still in the university archive and that is something that makes me really proud. Bath spa is an amazing university- don’t be put off because perhaps people haven’t heard about it, this university will give you the confidence to get to wherever you want to go in life. Great place for my daughter to go to university, only slight downside is the bus service here is not free, £430/term, otherwise nice accommodation and surroundings.

We visited Bath Spa University for an open day. We were totally taken aback by the outstanding rural setting, considering its proximity to the built up, World Heritage Site, Bath. Newton Park's Main House, built for Joseph Langton from 1762-1765 set in Capability Brown gardens and leased from the Prince of Wales, is Grade 1 listed. The site has been expanded over the years. with sympathetic and contemporary additions, to make up the campus present today. The staff and pupils were amazing. What a gem!
