Have used Laptop Doctor a few times for tech repairs and purchasing returned hardware. I always find the team friendly, helpful and prompt with work. I definitely recommend them.

The laptop incurred some water damage in the charging port, and I was unable to charge it. I came in at about 5pm and paid £25 for express service as I desperately needed it for uni work, it was fixed by 4pm the next day and cost me about £100 including the express fee. Thanks guys!

My laptop was working perfectly until I broke the charging port. I took it in to the Laptop Doctor, who charged £80 to look at it. They then told me the replacement part would cost £160.I decided against this and bought the part for £20. However, even though that charging port now worked fine, the rest of the laptop was ruined. Battery issues, memory issues, frequent blue screens and other issues.None of this happened before the Laptop Doctor had a look at it, whatever they did caused permanent damage to my laptop.For what should have cost £20, I paid them £80 and I assume because I didn't pay the extra £160, my £900 laptop is now all but useless.Additional Edit: I can't seem to reply to your response, hardly surprising that you'll try and make nonsense up in response to the review. I have not received any email with your quotes, nor did I at the time.It was only 2 years ago because you waited 3 weeks to respond. I brought it to you in November 2021, so 14 months ago. I know it was November 2021 as my work moved office on 1st November and the reason I used the Laptop Doctor was because it was near the office. I then didn't do anything with it for 8 months as you didn't fix it and I didn't want to pay an additional £160.You seem to deride the idea that anyone who doesn't work at the Laptop Doctor is capable of replacing a broken wire but even if I had done the worst job in the world of unplugging a wire and plugging in a new one, it would not cause the issues.Had I simply replaced the wire myself the first time around, my laptop would still work. Don't get me wrong, I am not accusing you of deliberately breaking my laptop. I'm saying my laptop was broken by your incompetence.

I went here after some of the keys on my keyboard stopped working so my keyboard needed replacing. I was initially charged a £20 upfront fee for getting the engineer to assess it. Once assessed I was told it was going to be a further £155 to get the keyboard replaced. This took a week. £155 seemed a lot so I picked my laptop up and went to the Laptop Chap in the Open Market who fixed it for £92 and in two days! Overpriced and slow!

I took my laptop for very minor repair and their engineer gave it back to me with more damage , it now not working at all after waiting 4 days behind with my university work and not yet repaired , they admit it’s their engineers fault but again waste of time waiting for repair will never ever trust this place is rip off and waste of time

Simple and easy service. Reasonably priced. Assured the work will be completed within a few days (postal strikes permitting!). Very pleased I popped in. Knowledgeable staff and plenty of equipment and accessories for most needs.Update: the laptop was too broken to be fixed, Laptop Doctors happily offered me a refund. Friendly staff as always. Will always come here first for computer needs

I was having issues with my hp laptop overheating and shutting down. The diagnosis of a faulty fan was given to me later that day with express service. I got my laptop back two days later. I’m a uni student and people at the Laptop Doctor were really understanding of the urgency of my situation. Reasonable pricing as well.

I have used other computer repair services in the city and this is by far the best. Their customer service is excellent. Their pricing is fair and transparent. They listen to the customer and double check to ensure the work done is what is wanted. I started off using them for my personal computer, now I use them for my business as well.Honestly don't waste your time going anywhere else.
