Came in today with my dog. Understandably, no dogs are allowed in the venue so we sat in the beer garden. We ordered food and drinks and upon bringing our drinks, the staff member told us we couldn’t sit with our dog in the beer garden. Nowhere does it say dogs aren’t allowed in the beer garden, only inside, and we were paying customers. Not only that, but he was sat under the table being well behaved. We had to leave without any of our food and drinks and won’t be coming back. I suggest you improve your signage.

28/06/23. Disappointing today. Only went for a beer. Abbots like sludge and the London fog. Doombar was a spring misty morning. Staff left a lot to be desired. Not ever this bad usually. Supped half of it and went. Not a bargain today.

It’s spoons, you know exactly what you’re getting from the start. Everything is pretty average but I love the convenience of ordering on your phone and being able to just sit and chat whilst everything is prepared for you.

Called in for a catch-up with my Neice.Cheap and cheerful. One staff member looked like she was in a mood and was quite grumpy. But all the other staff were nice and friendly. We did eat here. Slight mistake with my order, but they were willing to rectify it, but it meant sending my meal back... then, meaning we wouldn't be eating together, so I chose to decline their offer.Cheap drinks 2x 2 double pink gins and bottled Tonics £10 odd pence.

Food was cold and unpleasant, the staff were incredibly rude. The larger tasted awful and took just under an hour to be brought over. Overall an awful experience at this particular spoons.

Visited for an afternoon beer and was left pretty disappointed, I prefer to try the guest beers in wetherspoons wherever I go as I am not a lover of lager. The first beer I asked for was Acorn gold and was told sorry they had run out, so as I'd already paid decided to try a pint of Spitfire and that was also not available, as a last resort I asked for a pint of Abbot ale as the only other guest ale was Acorn old moor porter which I didn't fancy and low and behold the answer was sorry but, no Abbot ale, at that point I gave up and asked for my money back and walked out, very poor service in my opinion, as a result I walked into the nearby Black Rock pub and enjoyed a drink there instead. Wetherspoons management in the Six Chimneys need to check stock levels better to avoid this happening to other people.

Used to visit often but now stopped and decided to spend my money elsewhere. Food and drinks are okay prices are good but the place is always unclean and shabby desperately needs a clean and a refurb got sick of having to clean my own table. Last time I sat on a bench type chair it was broken and had completely come away from the wall I’d rather spend a bit more money and have food and drinks elsewhere which is a shame as the Wetherspoons is in a good location to stop after a day shopping

Popped in for an “eat out to help out” breakfast. Just after 8am so only a few folk in so got served immediately at the bar.Just had a small vegetarian breakfast which was surprisingly nice (if a tad cooler than it should have been). £2.14 including unlimited coffee. The cost is like eating out in 1975!Pretty standard example of this popular pup chain.

Dropped in on a work night In Wakefield. Slightly disappointed that the dish i decided on wasn’t available but the chicken and bacon salad I ended up with was very good. Very friendly staff, everything was a bit sticky but that’s British pubs for you. Good food for a good price.
