I was in Bournemouth on business and saw pretty good reviews of this place on Google, but I was very disappointed with the chips. I just bought chips so maybe their other food is better, but they were undercooked and many hadn't been peeled and a lot had lots of black bits on them. The shop itself looks clean and tidy, the woman that served me was polite enough, just a shame the chips were terrible. Also, I paid for a large portion but received an average size portion.Last night I bought fish and chips from Sunny's which were much better and bigger portions.

Had a medium Cod, Plaice, Large chips and Curry sauce and overall it was great value and did not disappoint. Fish was large and good quality and the chips survived journey home without succumbing to unreasonable levels of soggyness.Looking at the reviews here it seems like they may have had some issues in recent past with consistency of quality control, and while I've only been here once, I'd honestly give them the benefit of the doubt because the food I received was perfectly good. Would recommend, will go again.

Such a great meal. We had 2x battered sausage, large cod, quarter chicken and chips. Just over £13 and it was all amazing. Not greasy as previous reviews had mentioned. In fact the batter was perfectly crispy. We'll be back for sure

Very nice Cod & Chips from the Gallery. Very friendly lady who served. Myself and my wife ordered Fish and Chips with curry sauce. No issue with the food, not greecy like some reviews. Cooked fresh and chips as well. Only minus is the curry sauce just a little too thin for my tatse, but that is just preference over my taste buds! Can't please everyone as they say! Thanks Gallery and it's staff!

DISGUSTING , chips look days old and the oil must be weeks old . Bye far the worst chip shop I've ever been to . Only goof thing is the lady who served me was nice and polite . They definitely have no clue how to run I fish and chip shop unfortunately . I just wish I looked at the reviews before hand . O we'll

Never had a bad meal from here. Always good service from the couple who run it. I'd highly recommend it to anyone after a cheap dinner or even just a snack!
